Keith Alan Pennell Sr East Machias Keith Alan Pennell Sr, 83 , passed away May 2, 2023 at his home in East Machias surrounded by his children. He was born February 8, 1940 in Machias the son of the late Elsie and Arthur "Bill" Pennell. He worked for many years as a Merchant Marine, and several jobs before starting his own carpentry business. His favorite past times included hanging with friends and family at Bog Lake, camping, 4 wheeling, and hunting. He is survived by his three children -Cindy Mawson and husband Jason, Keith Pennell Jr and his fiance Marla Beam, Valerie Carter and her husband Brent Carter; grandchildren -Billy Grant , Stephen Grant, Jason Grant, Brooke Mawson, Jennifer Pennell, Marie Beam, Chris Larson, Michael Larson, A. J. Carter and Kristen Carter; many great grandchildren, and one great grandchild. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife Ferne Elaine (Brooks) Pennell, and a brother Irving Pennell A graveside service will be held 1pm June 11, 2023 at the Longfellow Cemetery , Machias.
