Keith Douglas Barker, age 63 of Glendale, Arizona, formerly of Midland, passed away unexpectedly on September 18, 2023 with his cat Easton close to his side. He was born November 15, 1959, the son of the late James Joseph Barker and Joyce Ann (Crosley) Barker of Midland. Keith enjoyed sharing his love of the west with visiting family members, hosting backyard pool parties, and riding his Harley Davidson. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Karen (Cliff) Lawson of Midland; two nephews, Christopher (Amanda) Lawson of Midland and Gregory Lawson of Wilmington; a niece, Marie (Ricardo) Silva of Wilmington; a great nephew, Eli Lawson; and two great nieces, Josephine Lawson, and Gracelynn Silva. Memories of Katarina and "Ya Ya" were held silently in his heart. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a. m. Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Holy Name Church in Blanchester with burial to immediately follow. Turner Funeral Home is serving the family. William L. "Bill" Huffman age 93 of Hillsboro died Sunday, November 26, 2023, at the Heartland of Hillsboro. He was born March 31, 1930, in New Vienna, Ohio, the son of the late Vaughn E. and Audrey Curtis Huffman. Bill was a self-employed carpenter and was a Korean War veteran serving in the U. S. Navy. He is survived by his wife, Gretchen Fullerton Huffman who he had married on March 14, 1951, one son, Scott (Letitia) Huffman of Metuchen, New Jersey, four grandchildren, Matthew Huffman, Nicholas Huffman, Megan Huffman, Molly (Colt) West, five great grandchildren, Jase Huffman, Bexley Reno, Kove Simon, Hendrix West, Leland West and one sister, Penny Bower of New Vienna. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Mark Huffman. Mr. Huffman had requested that at his death that his body be cremated, and no services be held. Larry Kay Snoddy, age 87, of Hillsboro, passed away Thursday November 23, 2023, at Legacy of Hillsboro. Larry was born on October 13, 1936, in Hillsboro, the son of the late Ernest and Buella (Wilkin) Snoddy. Larry proudly served his country in the United States Navy, and he worked at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base for many years. Larry is survived by his wife of 35 years, Peggy Snoddy. She was born February 2, 1940, in Davis County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Joel and Fannie (Graber) Stoll. Mrs. Wagler is survived by four children, Marvin Ray (Laura) Wagler, Fannie Marie (Levi) Lengacher, Amos (Kathleen) Wagler, Rosanna (Harley) Graber; twenty-three grandchildren; forty great grandchildren, seven brothers, Amos (Katie) Stoll, John (Ida Mae) Stoll, Lee (Alice) Stoll, Nick (Naomi) Stoll, Joel Jr. (Caroline) Stoll, Martin (Josephine) Stoll, Stephen (Joann) Stoll; two sisters, Rachel (Joe) Graber and Miriam (Henry) Raber. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Cletus D. Wagler, who passed away June 3, 2023; one son, Abraham Wagler; a great grandson, Eric Yutzy; and two sisters, Barbara Stoll Kemp, and Rosanna Stoll Wagler. Services will be held at 9:00 a. m. Thursday November 23, 2023 at the Wheat Ridge Community Building. Burial will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Tuesday November 21 from 4:00 - 8:00 p. m. and on Wednesday November 22 from 10:00 a. m. until 8:00 p. m. at the Community Building.Show more
