Montpelier, Ohio: Kaye F. Monk, age 83, of Montpelier and formerly of Wauseon, passed away in her home on Saturday, September 9, 2023. Kaye was born in Milan, Michigan, on September 1, 1940, the daughterof Ernest and Edith Belle (Clark) Cole. On February 27, 1960, she married Earl Monk, and he preceded her in death in 2017. Kaye was a constant organizer and loved going to the races at Oakshade Raceway. Surviving Kaye is her son, Ernest (Anne Marie) Monk of California; daughter, Kathleen (Eric) Skates of Wauseon; grandchildren, Sarah and Randall; and great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Savannah, Robert and Britnee. She is also survived by her sister, Betty Hackney of Florida and half-brother, Bob Cole of Swanton. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers, Roger and Ray Cole. Wauseon: Richard C. Mull, age 85, of Wauseon, passed away early Monday morning in his home. Richard had been a lifelong area farmer. He had been on the Fulton County Fair Board for approximately 30 years, and on the board of directors for the Fulton County Historical Society. Richard was born in Ridgeville Corners, Ohio on December 27, 1937, the son of Corvin and Helen (Mahler) Mull. On October 20, 1937 he married Mary Ann Tedrow, and she preceded him in death last year. Richard was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wauseon where he had served as a deacon and trustee, and also sang in the choir. He was also a member of the Fulton County Farm Bureau, and the Fulton County Cattle Feeders. He had also been a 4-H Advisor when he was younger, was in a bowling league in Wauseon, enjoyed woodworking, camping with the grandchildren, attending as many events as he could of the grandchildren's school and sporting event, and enjoyed fishing trips up north with friends. Surviving is daughter, Peggy Dopp (Roger Fickle) of Wauseon; son, John Mull of Wauseon; daughter-in-law, Jean Mull of Bellevue; grandchildren, Michelle (Jeff) Burke, Michael (Tracy) Dopp, Molly (Tim) Alexander, Corvin Mull and Kaden Mull; great-grandchildren, Lorelei, Declan, Trinity, and Destiny (with one more on the way!). He is also survived by his sister, Barb (Jay) Luft of Pataskala, Ohio; special caregiver, Sue Rinehart, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann; son, Michael E. Mull; son-in-law, Michael Dopp, Sr. and great-grandson, Paul. Visitation for Richard will be held from 2:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Friday, December 1, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wauseon, with Pastor Ashley Rosa-Ruggieri, officiating. Avis L. Bernath, age 94, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, November 23, 2023. Avis was born on February 14, 1929, near Stryker, Ohio, to Marvin and Marjorie (Woolace) Buehrer. Avis graduated in 1947 from Stryker High School. In 1950, she married Harold W. Bernath and he preceded her in death in August of 2008. Avis was a member of Stryker United Methodist Church. She was a member of United Methodist Women's Group, a youth leader, and taught Sunday school for many years. She was a life member of the VFW Post 2489 Ladies Auxiliary. Avis worked in the Stryker School Cafeteria for 25 years, starting part time and then as a manager, retiring in 1989. She loved the Lord and was a faithful witness until her death. Her warm smile said it all. Avis is survived by daughters, Nancy (Ted) Trevino and Shirley Parker; grandchildren, Ryan Miller and Stephanie Wollenbecker; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Tori, Cameron, Cayden, and Adelyn; sister, Ilene Backhaus; sister-in-law, Lynette Bernath; and many other family members and friends. Visitation for Avis will take place on Monday, November 27, 2023, at the Stryker United Methodist Church from 3pm-7pm. Marsha Lynne Graham, age 77, of Wauseon, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 19, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Lima, Ohio on September 1, 1946 to the late Dale and Ruth (Dardio) Price. Marsha graduated from Elida High School in 1964 and shortly after high school, would start her career at the United Telephone Company. On August 26, 1972, she married Lewis "Ed" Graham and together would share 38 years before his passing on April 29, 2010. Marsha enjoyed a variety of arts and crafts, her favorites being ceramic, she also enjoyed macrame and painting. She was a faithful member of the former First Baptist Church in Wauseon. Most of all, Marsha enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Rebecca (Michael) Davis of Defiance, Matthew (Adrienne) Graham of Wauseon, Rachel (James) Dominique of Wauseon; brother, Barry Price of Lima; grandchildren, Austin Davis, Gabrielle "Bree" Dominique, Jacob Dominique, Michael Graham and Holly Dominique, with two special grandchildren to be welcomed soon. Marsha was preceded in death by her parents; Dale and Ruth Price; husband, Lewis "Ed" Graham and sister, Judy Lawrence. Friends and family will be received from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 5825 St. Hwy 109 in Delta. "Frederick John Oberhaus, 79, of Wauseon Ohio, was called home to be with his Lord on November 5, 2023. He was born on September 4,1944 on the family farm near Liberty Center, Ohio to the late Fred and Martha (Buenger) Oberhaus. On September 21,1969 he married Darlene Rickenberg at St. Paul Lutheran Church Napoleon Township, Ohio. They were Blessed with three children, Esther, Daniel, and Julie. He graduated from Liberty Center High School in 1962. Frederick proudly served his country in the United States Army with an honorable discharge in July 1968. He was a farmer, but he also helped other farmers, TV Time Popcorn, Napoleon Springs, Arrow Molded Plastics, Napoleon, and Sauder Woodworking, Archbold. During his years at Sauders, he participated in the Rossiter Program. By using certain techniques of massage therapy, he was able to relieve the pain of many individuals. He always believed this was a God-given talent and always gave God the glory for the healing that so many experienced. He was a very active and faithful member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, where he humbly served his Lord on the School Board, Deacon, and Financial Secretary for many years. He was also a life member of the Warren L. McIntire American Legion Post 262, Hamler Ohio. Frederick enjoyed nature and taking care of his lawn. He loved watching and feeding the cats. He was always on the move and worked hard no matter what he was doing. His family was his everything. He was always helping them when needed and was very active in their lives. He was always there and made time for each one of them. He enjoyed doing woodworking projects, drawing, playing cards and talking with people, and according to his granddaughter Danielle and many co-workers, "He drank coffee like it was his job. " Frederick and Darlene designed and built a home together on the farm in Fulton County with the help of his uncle Howard Mitchell and Donald Dickmann. The Keller family did the plastering for the home. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Darlene; son, Daniel Oberhaus; daughters, Esther Oberhaus and Julie (Edmond Jr. ) Borders; grandchildren, Edmond (Meina Pearson) Borders III, Danielle (Clay) Byers, and Aiden Oberhaus; brothers, David (Janis) Oberhaus, William (JoAnn) Oberhaus; and sisters, Mary Haase, Carolyn (Eilert) Meienburg, Patricia (Steve) Dettmer, Bonnie Ohlrich, and Deborah (Jerry) Drewes. Fred was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and brothers-in-law, Larry Haase, and Allan Ohlrich. Friends and family will be received at the Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home, Napoleon, on Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Larry Ohlinger, age 71, of Wauseon, passed away in his home on November 5, 2023. Larry worked as a die setter at Fulton Industries. Larry was proud to have enjoyed six years of hard-earned retirement. Larry was born on October 20, 1952, to the late Donald and Agnes (Bates) Ohlinger in Toledo, Ohio. Larry loved his Detroit Lions, his Detroit Tigers, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He also enjoyed softball and fishing. His biggest joy was his family, and he loved to support his grandchildren in all of their events. Surviving Larry is his daughter, Alison (Reginald) Richardson-Pickett of Hilliard, Ohio; daughter, Sara (Keith) Stanbery of Toledo; and daughter, Samantha (Jacobie) Bagley of Bryan; his grandchildren, Alexis, James, Ashlyn, Aidan, Rachel, Jaygur, Nixon "N. J. ", Maeva, and Bennett; and great-grandchild, Ellenae. He is also survived by brothers, Jerry (June) Ohlinger, Carry Ohlinger, and Terry Ohlinger; two nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial graveside service will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Springfield Township Cemetery in Holland, Ohio at 1pm, with Pastor Matthew Sauder officiating. Barry Bates Brigham, age 91, of Wauseon, Ohio, entered Heaven on October 28, 2023 with his three daughters and family by his side. Barry was born on July 3, 1932, in Wauseon, to Walter P. and Clarice A. (Bates) Brigham. He attended school in Wauseon and graduated in 1950. In 1951, Barry entered the United States Navy and fulfilled his term in 1955 as a Fire Control Technician 3rd Class Petty Officer with the Gunnery Department. He thoroughly enjoyed his Navy days and talked of his experiences often. After the Navy, Barry worked a few jobs and went to Bowling Green State University for architectural drawing and drafting. In 1960, Barry met a man named Mack McGara at a church event. Mack looked at some of his drawings and hired him on the spot at Sheller-Globe/Sheridan. Barry spent his entire adult career at Sheridan, retiring in 1994 after a 35 year stay. In 1961, he met Mary Ann James on a blind date, and they married three months later in June of 1961. Barry and Ann were married for 45 years before she preceded him in death on November 22, 2006. Barry and Ann and their daughters vacationed several times a year at his parents' home on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in Curtis. Eventually that property became his and Ann's permanent home in 2005. Barry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking, which he was very skilled at. He made several beautiful furniture pieces for his wife. Fall Saturdays would find him cheering on The Ohio State University Buckeyes. He was a Free Mason at the Wauseon Masonic Lodge No. 349. Barry is survived by his children, Tammy (Larry) Kleinsmith, Kelly (Granger) Lambert, Jennifer (Jeff) Wolford, and Shane (Donna) Quintana. He was blessed with nine grandchildren, Danielle, Kristen, Jared, Jaccob, Jorrdyn, Jerremiah, Kelsey, Paige, and Megan; and 11 great-grandchildren. Barry is also survived by his brother, Bill (Laverne) Brigham, sister-in-law, Debra (Jessie) Martinez; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Ohio Living Hospice for their kind and compassionate care during Barry's transition to Heaven.
