Sara's spirit journey began Sunday, June 19, 2022, with her children and her partner, Kevin Brown, by her side. Kay (Sara) Frances was born to Doris (Columbus) and Wayne Mock on September 17, 1951. She is survived by her partner Kevin Brown; her 6 siblings Ron Anderson, June Kendall, Gary Bishop, Margie (Mark) Matchy, Cheryl (Wayne) Peterson and Wayne Mock Jr. ; her 4 children Dawn (Corey) Lenn, Rochelle Miller, Dean (Chele) Kalstabakken, and Daniel (Kelsey) Kalstabakken; as well as 11 grandchildren, Autumn, Nick, Zachary, Jessica, Zach, Caitlyn, Wyndum, Tristan, Allysa, Amy, Kirsten; 5 great grandchildren and 1 grand-cat, Mimi. Sara loved Mother Earth and communed with animals and nature daily. She truly lived and embodied the spirit of Saint Francis of Assisi, who believed that all of nature was a reflection of The Creator. And like Saint Francis, Sara believed all creatures were her brothers and sisters, and even spoke to them. In Sara's honor we acknowledge and give thanks to The Creator who allowed us to walk with her. We say chi Miigwech.
