Kathryn Dobbs Obituary

| | | Kathryn Kaye (Kelley) Dobbs of Dora, MO, daughter of Eunice (Wells) Kelley and Walter Kelley, was born on February 20, 1953 in Gainesville, MO. She entered into eternal rest May 7, 2023 at her residence at the age of 70 years. In May of 1972, Kaye married Glane Edwin Dobbs of Dora. There they remained, and lifetime partners for 50 years. They operated a dairy farm and raised 8 children. They were grandparents to 19 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Kaye loved the outdoors. She loved to garden, loved flowers, mowing her yard, canning; and loved her chickens and watching Judge Judy. Most of all she loved her family. One grandson, Jace Dobbs stole Kaye's heart and gave her a reason to keep fighting. Kaye would hold cookouts and dinners where her family would gather. Kaye is survived by 7 of her children: Kari Leroy and husband Ronald of Dora, Sandra Martin of Dora, Kenneth Dobbs of West Plains, Amanda Massey of Dora, Joseph Dobbs of Dora, Charity Bledsoe of Dora, Ethan Dobbs of Dora. Kaye was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Eunice Kelley; her husband Glane "Dude" Dobbs; one son Kella Dobbs; grandson Devon Massey; granddaughter Danekka Dobbs; and a very special aunt Pauline Wells. Kaye will be greatly missed by all. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Friday, May 12, 2023 at the Hale Cemetery in Dora, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
