Kathleen M. Vicich (nee Aimaro)Age 69, of New Lenox, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Kathy was born in Joliet to the late Louis and Helen (nee Malnar) Aimaro. Beloved wife of Kenneth Vicich; loving mother of Kimberly (Mike) Gorman, Kenneth (Shenz) Vicich, and Kristy (Nick) Akai; cherished Nana of Anita and Danika Akai; dear sister of Terri (Mike) Baron and Michael Aimaro; loved godmother of Elise (Dan) Mastantuono; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her faithful companion Addison Clark. Kathy was a skilled crafter and an avid Cubs fan. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff from University of Chicago Medicine at Silver Cross Hospital for their wonderful care. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kathy's name to Lightways Hospice would be appreciated. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL on Sunday, June 26, 2022, from 12:00pm until time of Remembrance and Prayers at 3:30pm.
