Katherine (Kaye) Hendricks Storey October 16, 1942 – October 4, 2023 Kaye Storey, 80, of Fort Pierce, Fl passed away on October 4, 2023. Upon her passing she was surrounded with an abundance of love and admiration with her family by her side. After graduating from Dan McCarthy High School in 1960, Kaye married her best friend and the love of her life, Joe Storey. Married for over 63 years, their love began while Kaye was working for Canady’s Drug Store serving Ice Cream. Although, Kaye was an amazing cook, it was her banana split, and her beauty that landed Joe’s heart. To this day, Joe will tell you, she is the most beautiful women he has ever seen. Soon after graduation Kaye and Joe were married on October 22, 1960 at Westside Baptist Church. They raised four amazing children. Donnie (Jamie) Storey, Shari (Rusty) Vincent, Tommy (Margaret) Storey and Katherine (Andrew) Doole. Kaye enjoyed spending time with her husband and children, attending baseball games, football games, camping, boating and family vacations. Kaye worked as a Business Administrator, with her husband Joe in the pest control business. Although, Joe was the manager, and later the President of their own pest control business, everyone knew that Kaye was the real boss. They say "Behind every Successful Man, there is a Great Women". That great woman, was definitely Kaye. Kaye has nine "favorite" grandchildren. Jennifer Geiger, Desiree Price, RC Price, Kristopher Goodner, Becky Allsbury, Brittany Robinson, Kyle Storey, Chuck (Billy) Priest, and Blake Wolfe. She loved spending time with them and teaching them to paint, make crafts, and loved to share recipes and family history. She was blessed with 9 great grandchildren and 1 on the way. Kaye has numerous nieces and nephews. Kaye loved attending flea markets, painting, hosting family parties and could decorate any house into a home. She had a natural gift in interior decorating. Her list of things she loved, was very long, but her list of thing she did not like were only 3 things - Snakes, More Snakes, and Mean People. Kaye was a unique and wonderful lady, with a very giving and loving heart. Kaye is now in heaven alongside her Father Charles R Hendricks and her Mother, Bessie Hendricks.
