Katherine Lynn Marek of Pleasanton, passed away on Monday, June 20 at the age of 85. Katherine was born on December 13, 1936, to Jim and Helen Zezula. Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Marek; son, Randy Marek; sister, Georgia Marek and her husband Johnny; son-in-law, Roy Polasek and nephew, Raymond Marek. She is survived by her son, Richard Marek; daughter, Kathleen Polasek; son, Russell Marek; grandson, Kyle Marek; granddaughter, Katlyn Polasek; sister, Henrietta Lowak and husband James, Edith Chesshir and husband Walter, and Barbara Flippen; and brother, James Marek. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022, at Hurley Funeral Home, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Pleasanton starting at 10:00 am, with burial to follow at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery #2.
