Beloved mother of Robert Barisano and his loving companion Laraine Rossi, Richard Barisano and the late Randal Barisano, Ronald Barisano and his surviving wife Corinne. Dear sister of the late Claire Martello, Loraine Andrews, and Carol Capodilupo. Cherished grandmother of Lauren, Christine, Bridget, Julieann Barisano. Adored great- grandmother of Anthony, Jeremiah, and Isayah. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Eleanor was blessed for over 70 years to have been living in the same home with her mother in law Bernadina and father in law Salvatore Barisano. Eleanor loved to travel, loved to cook and loved to shop. She will miss her weekly shopping ritual with her good friend, Maryann. Eleanor was a loving mother and wife. She was a friend to many, a generous person who would be there for you whenever you needed her, whether it was to go to an appointment or sit at MGH and keep you company. She was always there in good times and bad. She will be reunited with her loving husband and her two sons. She will be missed by all. Craig Matthews of East Boston formerly of Revere entered into rest on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at the age of 72 The loving brother of the late Maureen Matthews of revere and the dear son of the late Earl and Frances Matthews of Revere. He is survived by many cousins and his loving auntie Millie Vincent of Revere. Craig grew up in Revere, and graduated from Revere Highschool. He loved all things sports, especially basketball. He also had a deep love for animals, especially his cat Fred. He was a recovering alcoholic that volunteered at various AA meetings as a speaker and mentor. Craig died after a 3-year battle with Stage four Bone and liver cancer. A funeral service for Craig will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 9-10:30AM AM at Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 128 Revere Street, Revere, MA with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery 302 Elm Street, Everett, MA 02149. Born and raised in East Boston, Renee's roots were firmly planted in the community she called home. She attended East Boston High School, where she forged lifelong connections and made lasting memories. Renee's spirit of camaraderie and her genuine kindness endeared her to many, leaving an indelible mark on those who were fortunate enough to know her. Renee found her calling as a bartender at Sammy's Patio, where she dedicated many years of her life. Her warm smile, infectious laughter, and unparalleled customer service made her a beloved figure among patrons. Renee's ability to connect with people and create a welcoming atmosphere at the bar earned her a special place in the hearts of many. In addition to her immediate family, Renee is survived by aunts, uncles, and a wide circle of friends who mourn the loss of a dear companion. Her impact on the lives of those around her will continue to resonate, and the memories of her laughter and warmth will be cherished for years to come.
