Calvin Jerome Stewart entered this world on November 24, 1964, the beloved son of Eddie Stewart and Annie Williams. From a young age, Calvin found a spiritual home at Greater Peace Baptist Church, embracing his faith wholeheartedly. His educational journey led him to Killeen High School in Killeen, Texas, from where he graduated before embarking on a distinguished service in the United States Marine Corps. Calvin held the ethos "once a Marine, always a Marine" close to his heart, a testament to his enduring love and pride for the Corps. After his military service, Calvin made his way back to Fort Walton Beach, where he established himself as a skilled contractor. Among his many passions, playing pool held a special place, often enjoying the game at the Eagle lodge, of which he was a proud member. Calvin's love for fishing, inherited from his youth, continued throughout his life. He humorously insisted that no catch was too small, often quipping that any fish could serve as bait for a bigger catch. Calvin was greeted in the afterlife by his parents, Eddie Stewart and Annie Williams, and his sister Kawanda Stewart, who preceded him in death. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his siblings: Samantha Stewart of Vernon, Florida; Michelle Woody (married to Michael) of Fortson, Georgia; Michael and Kurtis (married to Latasha) Stewart of Austin, Texas; and Scherrie Stewart of Houston, Texas. His life was enriched by the companionship of a dear friend, Charles Gatlin "C-rock" (and wife Bonnie), along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of friends and relatives. Each of them holds dear the memory of Calvin, mourning his loss while celebrating the joy and warmth he brought into their lives.
