She loved hunting out a good bargain at rummage sales and Black Friday sales. Karen also enjoyed playing the machines at the casinos and trips to Las Vegas. A few of Karen's other favorite things were getting her nails done, chocolate shakes, strawberries with sugar on them, giving bottomless gift bags at Christmas, shopping at Kohls, Bath and Body Works and Avenue, her collection of purses and blingy jewelry. Karen's grandchildren were the love of her life and she really enjoyed spoiling them during the holidays. Karen met Bob at a card game and their loved blossomed over a can of lemonade. They knew they were right for each other and got engaged in one short month. In their five wonderful years together they enjoyed going to church, traveling to The Dells, Arizona and California, going to the casino, dining at Fox and Hounds, playing cribbage and going to parties at Amy's house. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of your choice in Karen's name are appreciated. Memorial Visitation at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM with a Memorial Service at 12:00 PM. Karen will be laid to rest at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in a private ceremony.
