KARA CARLENE ROWE - age 39 of Lebanon passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. She was preceded in death father, Kendall Chester Jones J. r and mother, Nola Jane Rowe. She is survived by sister Kendra Casey (Jeffery) Grover; brother, Christopher Bryon Rowe; nephews, Cameron McCann, Ryan McCann, and Isaac Ridgeway; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Joseph "Terry" Price, age 76, died on November 30, 2023 at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital in Lebanon, Tennessee, after an extended battle of medical issues. Terry was surrounded by loved ones and passed peacefully. He was born on December 29, 1946 in Rich Pond, Kentucky and spent the majority of his life in the Rich Pond Community. Terry was a member of Warren County High School, Class of 1964, then drafted into the United States Army and served in the artillery division during the War in Vietnam. Terry was a dedicated employee of 38 and half years at Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation where he held many positions. He started out as a groundsman working his way from Lineman to Line Foreman to Superintendent of Right of Way. Outside of his career, Terry held many other titles as well; Coach to his three children, President of Warren County Pee Wee, President of Warren County South Little League, President of Warren County Babe Ruth, and Board Member of the Warren County Parks & Recreation Ethics Committee. Terry is preceded in death by his son Kevin Price, his parents Jessie Murl and William Robert Price, and nine siblings; James Robert 'Jim' Price, Mattie Sue Davis, Mary Florence Gott, Matilda Ann "Tilly" Rankin, Ernest Stanley Price, Willie Zelma "Zee" Stewart, Wallace Ezekiel Price, William Wayne "Bill" Price, and John Leonard Price. He is survived by the love of his life of 55 years Laura Sparks Price, and their children; Brian Price (Karen) and daughter Angie Price, sister Betty Jane Proctor (Donald), and sister-in-law Alma Jean Price. Nine grandchildren; Peyton Smith (Kyler), Landon Embry (Ashley Cole), Brhett Egerton (Anna), Colton Embry, Rebecca Egerton, Logan Price, Haley Price, Breanah Turner (Aidan Becker), Khloe Meador, and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p. m. Monday, December 4, 2023 and from 9 until 11 a. m. Tuesday all at the J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a. m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Bowling Green Gardens. Dr. John Michael Pino, 63, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital after a long, quiet battle with cancer. John was an optometrist in Lebanon for many years and continued to see patients as long as his health allowed. In the past few years, he had become certified in treating people with low vision and took great pleasure in helping patients with complicated vision conditions see their world as clearly as possible. John attended Tennessee High School in Bristol; Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville; and Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. In addition to his optometrist's degree, John had a PhD in nutrition. His rigorous focus on clean eating, along with an active lifestyle, kept him healthy and strong, even though the cancer remained. He enjoyed traveling and had even planned a family trip to Italy next fall. John never missed an opportunity to talk about his faith. He embraced life fully with a positive attitude. He loved God most of all, followed closely by his family, his friends, and his patients. John is preceded in death by his father, Pete Pino, and his brother-in-law, Jim Smith. He is survived by his wife, Marie (Ree) Pino; two sons, Tyler (Hannah) Pino of Dickson and Ryan (Yiyi) of Boston, Mass. ; his mother, Bonnie Pino; his sister, Andrea (Tom) Scobie and niece, Sarah, of Franklin; mother-in-law, Jackie McClain of Lebanon; and sister-in-law, Betsi Smith of Hopkinsville, Kentucky. A celebration of life will take place Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 4 p. m. , with visitation from 2 p. m to 4 p. m. at Sellars Funeral Home, 313 W. Baddour Pkwy. in Lebanon.
