Justin Philip HoenigOf MundeleinJustin Philip Hoenig was born June 28, 1996 in Evanston to Steve and Lorrie (Paoli) Hoenig. He died April 16, 2023 at his home in Mundelein. Justin had many accomplishments in his lifetime including Manager of the Mundelein Park District Diamond Lake Beach Facility and Chief of the Mundelein Police Explorer Unit. Justin graduated from Mundelein High School in 2014 and received a B. S. in Accounting from Elmhurst College in 2018, he earned his C. P. A. license from the State of Illinois and worked for the Defense Contract Management Agency. In his free time, Justin enjoyed traveling (Alaska, Hawaii, Arizona, Norway, Spain, Italy and Mexico), trying new experiences (ziplining, skydiving), hiking, spending time with family and friends, trying new foods, playing the trumpet and watching Formula 1. Justin is survived by his parents Steve and Lorrie; his brother Jeremy; his grandparents Dennis Paoli and Mary Hoenig and his aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Philip Hoenig and Gerry Paoli. Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:00 PM. Visitation and Memorial Service will both be held at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Hts. Rd, Arlington Hts. , IL. Memorial contributions to be determined.
