June Marie Weant, 94, passed away in Spearman on Sunday, June 19, 2022. There will be a family memorial at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman. June was born in Perryton, Texas on May 29, 1928, to Jesse Edwards and Mabel Berner Edwards. June and William Allen (Billy) were married on July 30, 1946 in Spearman. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Her children said that she was a awesome mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was very active at Hansford Manor. June was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Billy Weant in 1986. She is survived by daughter, Sherry and husband Bob Barnett of Spearman, sons , Rodney and wife Nancy Weant of Tuson, AZ and Allen and wife Rhonda Weant of Tuson, AZ. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, Tammy Murray, Heather Parker, William Shields, Nick Weant ,Jesse Weant and 17 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
