June L. Johnson, of Groveland, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at her home in Groveland. She was born in Groveland on November 9, 1927, daughter of the late John H. and Edith M. (Coram) Dawkins. June graduated from Groveland High School class of 1945. She was employed at Haverhill National Bank for 11 years then as a homemaker to raise her family. She was a Brownie troop leader and was much admired by her troop. June is predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Arnold G. Johnson, and her sisters Rose E. DerMinasian and Edith C. Hamm. She is survived by her children; Robert A. Johnson of Dracut, Karin A. Hughes and her husband John Hughes of Newton, NH, Kristin B. Johnson of Groveland; brother John H. Dawkins and his wife Pamela of Monson, ME. , sister Bertha G. Lambert of Newburyport as well as several nieces and nephews. She was a "second Mom" to many, who loved the neighborhood children and always made them feel special. At the family's request, services will be private. Arrangements are by the H. L. Rosemarie A. Lannon, 77, of Haverhill, MA peacefully passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 23, 1946, she is the daughter of the late Joseph R. and Marie (Palladino) Palange. Rosemarie was born and raised in Somerville, she got her Master's degree and worked in the Cambridge School System for many years, later working in High Tech sales. Rosemarie loved to travel with her husband Bill and enjoyed countless winters and summers on Moose Pond in Bridgton ME. She was an excellent cook, loved to ski and go on walks with her friends in her free time. She was very involved in her community and was a proud member of the Merrimack Valley Partners in Service, and on the board at Northfields in Haverhill. She loved to spend time with her family more than anything, Rosemarie was kind, selfless and had a great sense of humor. Along with her parents, Rosemarie is predeceased by her brothers Thomas Palange and David Palange. Rosemarie will be deeply missed and is survived by her beloved husband, William C. Lannon Jr. She is the loving Mother to Helena Lannon, loving Stepmother to; Catherine Howley and her husband Gary of CT, Christopher Lannon and his wife Liz of ME, William Lannon III and his wife Deborah of MA, Terrence Lannon and his wife Leslie of MA, Frank Lannon and his wife Monica of CA, John Lannon of MA, Kelley Lannon and her husband David of CA, MaryEllen Lannon and her husband Steven Marshall of MA, siblings, Robert Palange and his wife Cindy of NH, and Judy Palange of MA, as well as her sisters in-law, Jane Palange and Jody Roffi. Stacy A. Whalen, 52, of Haverhill MA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 25, 2023. She was born in Lawrence, MA on August 13, 1971, daughter of James and Maureen (O'Connor) Whalen. Stacy graduated from Timberlane Regional High School with the Class of 1989. After high school she continued her education in the medical field and went on to hold numerous roles as a Licensed Practical Nurse, an OR technician, a Certified Nursing Assistant and spent many years as a Secretary at Lawrence General Hospital in the ER, a job she truly loved. You could always find Stacy sitting by the ocean. She loved the sand, the water and the sunshine, no matter the place. She enjoyed spending her time in York Beach, Maine where she admired the Nubble Lighthouse and spent many summers as a teenager working at York's Wild Kingdom. There she made lifelong friends and memories. Stacy also enjoyed many trips to Florida, with her parents and family. Her favorite activities included her morning trips to Dunkin Donuts, relaxing at the beach and watching the sunsets, reading, advocating for marine life, camping in Salisbury reservation and admiring numerous lighthouses. She was always up for an adventure and loved taking long drives, without a destination in mind. More than anything, Stacy enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and loved caring for her two cats, Charlotte and Tucker. Stacy will be remembered by her contagious laughter and sense of humor, her kindness, her resilient spirit and her strong love for her family, friends, and all of those around her. To know Stacy, was to love her. In addition to her loving parents, she is survived by her two children, whom she was incredibly proud of, Nicholas Bonasoro of Boston, MA and Isabella Ross of Haverhill, MA, her younger brother Christopher Whalen and his wife Courtney Patti of Virginia, her niece and nephew Alexandra Whalen and Connor Whalen, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Thank you to her cousin Janice Pawlick for her love and support. Stacy was predeceased by her grandparents John and Marilyn O'Connor and Pauline Mendonsa, her aunt Alane Barrett and her cousin Jaime Barrett. Robert Anthony Ignazi, 70, of Haverhill, MA passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Holy Family Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 30, 1953, he was the son of Ivo and Vita (DiVita) Ignazi. Robert was born and raised in Malden, MA before moving to Merrimac, MA then finally moved to Haverhill, MA. He had a passion for cars since a young age and loved attending car shows with his family and friends. He spent several years working at Lucent Technologies and Later L3 Communications. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working on his truck, riding his bicycle, going for long walks with his wife and dog Duncan and working in his garden. He was extremely loyal and loving to his friends and family and would do anything for them. Robert loved being a Papa. He always looked forward to seeing his grandsons whether it was helping them with a project or just playing a made up adventure or game. He was the most amazing husband and father and was always the first to lend a helping hand. Most of all he was always there for his family and friends. He will be sorely missed by all who loved him. Robert will be deeply missed and is survived by his loving wife, Rosemarie (Puglise) Ignazi; beloved children, Jonathan Ignazi and his wife Danielle, and Alyssa Luponi and her husband Steven; as well as his grandsons, Anthony Ignazi, Dante Ignazi, and Jionni Ignazi. Nicole graduated from Framingham High School and briefly attended, her desired school of choice, The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. She used her fashion ability to decorate and repurpose antique furniture. Nicole married her best friends brother of 25+ years. Together in 2003 and married on June 5, 2005 at Finnerty's Country Squire Restaurant in Wayland, MA. Nicole left an indelible impression on close family members and friends. She lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures, especially with her husband and daughter. Nicole had a smile that could light up a room. She had the ability to speak to and make friends everywhere she went. Nicole will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her. HAVERHILL - It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of our Mimi, Margaret D. Ferlito who entered eternal rest on October 29, 2023 surrounded by her loving family at Ashland Farms Assisted Living in North Andover. Margaret was born in Haverhill, MA on January 12, 1934 and was only a few months shy of her 90'th birthday. She was the daughter of the late Leopold and Irene (Fortier) Lacroix. Margaret was the last of 6 siblings to pass from the closeknit, religious, French-Canadian Lacroix family who resided in Lafayette Square. She was predeceased by her brothers, Roland (Al) Lacroix, Gerard (Joe) Lacroix and Leo Lacroix; and by her sisters, Theresa Fici and Antoinette Crepeau. She graduated from Saint James High School, class of 1952. Always a whiz with numbers and math, Margaret worked as a bookkeeper at Seymour Shoe, Clicker City and Regan Ford until her retirement. While at Seymour Shoe, she worked closely with famous shoe designer, Stuart Weitzman, son of Seymour Weitzman. When Stuart traveled to Haverhill for the unveiling of the mural honoring famous Haverhill residents, he spied Margaret in the crowd and the two reunited, much to her delight. Being devout Catholics, Margaret and Tom attended the 4:00 PM Mass every Saturday at Sacred Hearts Church. They were frequent visitors to the adoration chapel on Fridays, lighting votive candles for many prayerful requests. Margaret married the love of her life, Tom on May 10, 1953. He passed away last year, in May 2022, just after their 69'th wedding anniversary. They were truly soulmates, sharing the same common interests and strict family values in a heartwarming American love story. Margaret was an incredible Italian cook with her signature dishes including, homemade pasta, ultra-thin homemade raviolis, meatballs and sauce that rivaled North End restaurants. Other interests, included a love for Salisbury Beach and the Bradford Swim Club. Margaret and Tom were founding members of the BSC and were honored for their 50 continuous years of membership with a free season pass and reserved parking space. Margaret is survived by her son, Dr. Thomas A. Ferlito and his wife Kathy of North Andover, MA and her daughter, Donna Ferlito-Brown and her husband, Eric of East Derry, NH. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life, greeting them at every visit with a big smile, hugs and kisses. Her surviving grandchildren include Kaitlyn Brown and her partner, Carl Campbell and great-grandson, Carl IV, Christopher Brown, Erika Jimenez and her husband, Christian and great-grandson, Hail. Also, Allison Ferlito, Dr. Thomas C. Ferlito and his wife, Sunnie, Dr. Kathryn Frey and her husband, Derek. Our family would like to acknowledge the exemplary care provided by Ashland Farms Assisted Living. Our mother was treated by their staff like family and each visited her bedside to pay their respects at her passing. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Services will begin Saturday in the funeral home at 10:00 AM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 S. Main Street, Haverhill at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, N. Broadway, Haverhill.
