June Armstrong Obituary

Jane A. Armstrong, 78, of Kirkville passed away on April 18, 2023. She was a graduate of East Syracuse High School & SUNY Cortland, teaching grades K-6 for 35 plus years for the Syracuse City School District. Jane loved life and always gave more than she received. In retirement she enjoyed friends and traveling, photography, composing poetry and art classes. A talented painter, she proudly displayed her work at exhibits through the Oneida Library and her home. Predeceased by her parents Stanley Legawiec and Janina (Szuba) Legawiec; a brother Robert E. Legawiec. Surviving daughter, Jeanine Armstrong and grand dog; several cousins and extended family. Calling hours will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 27 at R. H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel with a service to follow.
