Julie Ann (Wells) Mitchell, 69, of Bunnell, Florida, passed away June 18, 2022, after a short battle with cancer. She was born on November 18, 1952, in Plainville, Connecticut, to the late Charles and Nancy (Cox) Wells. Julie graduated from Plainville High School in 1970. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Augusta in 1987. Julie’s life was full of obstacles and challenges. But she met them head-on and successfully battled every demon that came her way. Because of these challenges, Julie was the most positive person you would ever meet. Even as she neared the end of her life, she was in amazement that it wasn’t anything like what she expected. She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. She was loved by everyone she interacted with and create lifelong friendships along the way. To list all of her close friends would be nearly impossible.
