Julie Mcguinness Obituary

Age - 35
September 11, 2023
New Braunfels, TX
Julie Andrea (Hutto) McGuinness was born on June 2, 1988, to Karen and Jerald Hutto of New Braunfels, TX. Julie grew up in the Hill Country and spent parts of her adult life in Okinawa, Japan and Hendersonville, Tennessee before returning to New Braunfels. Julie passed peacefully at her home in New Braunfels, surrounded by family on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at the age of 35. Creative, free-spirited, honest, strong-willed, perceptive, mindful, unique, kind-hearted, and a wildflower only begins to scratch the surface of the very essence of Julie's being. Julie was a lover of music, art, and laughter. She had the ability to wrap her love in a physical form around her loved ones through her perfected tie-dying technique and her inherited love of crocheting from her Granny. Her favorite place was to be outside with the warm sun on her face. She had a true connection to nature, and you could often find her out and about in it. She taught us to slow down, pay attention to the intricacy of even the smallest flower. She lived purposefully, whether it's what she ate, wore, or decorated her house with. She did it with purpose and ever with nature in mind. Julie met the love of her life Michael McGuinness in New Braunfels, and they were married on March 12, 2017. No two other people have ever come together in a more perfect way, time or place. Julie was an amazing mommy to their two sons; providing tender care, and defending them with such ferocity. Julie forever will be her family's lioness. And throughout the recent years of pain and struggle, Julie handled it all with a grace and elegance that showed her grounded connection to nature and the peace within her soul. While we will miss Julie here on Earth, we have peace that she is reunited with her precious first son, Orion Hawk. We find peace in knowing that we will see her again and that she is no longer fighting, and she is finally able to rest. We also cling to the countless memories and moments we have of Julie and the light that she brought to our lives. Julie is preceded in death by her grandparents; Robert E. Lee Hutto, Marjorie Loyd (Hutto) and her husband Walter Wesley Loyd; her father-in-law, James William McGuinness Jr. ; and her son, Orion Hawk McGuinness. Julie is survived in death by her husband, Michael McGuinness; her son, Uriah Quill (age 4); her parents, Jerald and Karen Hutto; her grandparents, Carol Maldonado and Ronald Hertzman; her eight siblings; Jessica Belveal (Hutto) (Josiah and five children), Joshua Hutto (Lauryn and three children), Jared Hutto (Emily and four children), Jed Hutto (Jamie and two children), Jeremy Hutto, Jacob Hutto, James Hutto, and Jason Hutto; her Mother in law, Grace Raimondi; sister in law, Patricia Pennington; as well as countless other relatives and friends. A celebration of Julie's life will be held at the New Braunfels Conservatory at 6pm on September 30, 2023.
