Julie Ann Cross, 57, of Cornell, Wisconsin passed away Thursday, September 7th, 2023 at Sacred Heart Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Julie was born October 27th, 1965 to James and Carol (Hardina) Williams in Cumberland, Wisconsin. She attended Turtle Lake Schools and graduated in 1984. She enjoyed her time working for Xcel Energy for 30 years as a meter reader. She married Steven Cross On March 11th, 2016. Julie was a woman of strong faith, one quote that she always said was "Jesus is coming soon", that ended up being her famous saying. Julie loved horses, going motorcycling, and car shows. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, that she loved very much. Julie is survived by her husband Steve, her two daughters-Jessica Edmond and Jennifer (Nathaniel) Jahn, her mother- Carol Williams, her five grandchildren- Waylon, Lydia, Rhett, Keena, and Kallie; and her three brothers- Todd (Deb) Williams, David Williams, and Donn (Michelle) Williams. She is further survived by her bonus children- James (Darlene) Cross, Troy Cross, Stevie (Alesia) Cross, Chris (Jennifer) Cross, Sandra Cross, and Kathleen Cross; her bonus grandchildren, one being Kaiden whom she had a very special bond with, and also her nieces and nephews- Caleb, Josh, Darren, Eric, and Tiffany. She is preceded in death by her father- James Williams. Services will be held at 3pm on Monday, September 11th, 2023 at Keystone New Life Alliance Church, 24288 Cty Hwy Z, in Cornell, Wisconsin with Rev. Dr. Jim Brandli officiating. The visitation will be from 1pm until the start of service at 3pm. Interment will be at the Estella Cemetery. Janet Ida (Seidlitz) Black, 87, of Cornell, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully Monday, September 18th, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Janet was born in the Township of Cleveland on December 5th, 1935 to Walter and Edith (Stevens) Seidlitz. She grew up in the Township of Eaglepoint, and attended and graduated from Cornell High School in 1954. After graduation, she moved to Minneapolis, where she worked at bank for a short time before moving back to Wisconsin. She married Lloyd Black on February 5th, 1955 at Trinity Lutheran Church, in the Township of Cleveland. Together they had seven children. She was a homemaker and cook, she worked at several different places being a cook, but enjoyed her time at N-Joy in Cornell the most. She enjoyed traveling with Lloyd, sewing, camping, going to garage sales, thrift stores and she loved animals, she also enjoyed spending time with her sister Norma, and her close family members. She was a member of St. John's church in Cornell, her faith was strong and very important to her. Janet is survived by her five children- Jerry (Grace) Black, Randy Black (Theresa), Laurie (Pat) Krueger, Wally (Tammy) Black, and Norma (Antonio) Johnson; 29 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, plus 2 more on the way; her sister- Norma (Carol) Christiansen; brothers- Larry (Diane) Seidlitz, John (Roxi) Seidlitz, Tim (Ramona) Seidlitz; brother-in-law- Darryl Matott; sister-in-laws- Janet Seidlitz, Evelyn Seidlitz, Sharron (Harry) Miller, Bonnie Delaney, Betty Helland, and Dora White. She is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd, her parents-Walter and Edith Seidlitz; two sons- Ricky and Tom Black; two granddaughters- Julianne Bryan and Victoria Bohringer; brothers and sisters- Sonny, Lyle, Ray, Chuck, Delta, Nona, and Beatrice, as well as other family members. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 24th, 2023 at 4pm at St. John's Lutheran Church in Cornell, Wisconsin with Pastor Chris Christenson officiating. Brian L. Ketelboeter, age 67, of Cornell, WI. passed away Sunday January 16th, 2022 at Marshfield Medical Center in Eau Claire, WI. Brian was born to Earl and Evelyn Ketelboeter on January 7th, 1955 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, WI. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in rural Marxville, WI. He enjoyed driving truck, farming, fishing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with all his grandkids. One of his greatest joys was driving truck for Walters Brothers Lumber Mfg. He had said many times they were like his second family. He is survived by his significant other of 42 years (Becky Austin); 5 sons - Peter (Amanda) Cameron of Tony, WI, Stacy (Sandy) Cameron of Montana, Brandon (Jaime) Ketelboeter of Cornell, WI, Derrick (Paige) Austin of Sheldon, WI, Cody (Tracie) Ketelboeter of Cornell, WI; 2 daughters - Charlie Sue (Stan) Ewings of Cornell, WI, Candi Ketelboeter (Chris) of Chippewa Falls, WI; 13 Grandsons, 4 Granddaughters, 1 Great Granddaughter and the new baby boy of Cody and Tracie due in June. He is also survived by siblings - Elaine Wickersham of Appleton, WI, Stephen (Goldie) Ketelboeter of Cornell, WI, Bruce Ketelboeter of Chanute, KS, and Randy (Pam) Ketelboeter of Murrieta, CA; 1 aunt - Ann Koch of Evansville, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents - Earl and Evelyn Ketelboeter, maternal grandparents - Lester and Anna Koch, paternal grandparents - Ewald and Elsie Ketelboeter, his nephew (God son) Randy Ketelboeter Jr. and many aunts and uncles. Eugene "Gene" M. LeTendre passed away at the age of 79 on Saturday, 8 August 2020 at 6:55 a.m. at the Essentia Health Center in Virginia Minnesota. Gene was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Luella LeTendre, his brother Roy LeTendre, sister Nancy Helstad LeTendre, sisters-in-law Mary Ann LeTendre, and great-granddaughter Aubree Jean LeTendre. Gene is survived by his loving wife Carol of 36 years. Gene is remembered by his children; Cheryl (Jeff) Turner of Kenosha Wisconsin, Denise LeTendre of Cornell Wisconsin, Jean (Joe) Alger of Thorp, Wisconsin, Jim (Chris) LeTendre or Holcomb Wisconsin, Toni (Tony) Sieg of Maryland, and Rich (Julie) LeTendre of Elk Mound Wisconsin. Gene is also remembered by his step-children; Cathy (Richard) Boneska, Kip (Catherine) Krueger, and Kim (Leah) Krueger. Gene has many nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gene was born and raised in Chippewa County; graduating from Cadott High School. He owned and operated his dairy farm for many years before retiring to enjoy full time hunting and fishing. The services for Gene will be held at Faith Baptist Church, 724 Main St, Cornell Wisconsin on Thursday 13 August 2020.
