Judy Tolbert, 69, of Petal passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Forrest General Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a. m. on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Moore Petal Chapel with interment to follow in Green's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Tolbert was a member of Tiger Creek Baptist Church where she was very involved in Sunday School. She enjoyed flower gardening, crocheting, and doing crafts. She also loved visiting with people and reading her Bible. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Doris Brewer; her brothers, Lloyd, Dwight, and Lonnie Brewer; and her nephew, Ricky Brewer. She is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Leon Tolbert of Petal; her siblings, Roy Brewer (Judy) of Beaumont, John Brewer (Kathy) of Richton, Theola Peterson of Oak Grove, and Bettye Morgan (David) of Ovette; her uncle, Milton Brewer of Benndale; and numerous nieces and nephews that loved her dearly. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Moore Petal Chapel from 5 p. m. until 9 p. m.
