Judy Scott Obituary

Judy Faye Scott, age 73, of Lumberton, NC, died on Friday, October 6th, 2023, in her home. She was born in Robeson County, NC on July 3, 1950 to the the late Gladys Green. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Randolph Scott; and her best friend, Pearly Leake Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Mayes of Lumberton; her son, Timothy Scott of Rowland; two grandchildren, Austin Mayes of Lumberton and Andrew Mayes of Pembroke; and three great-granddaughters of Pembroke. Judy loved her job at Bo's Foods, where she worked for over fifteen years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved going to the beach to go fishing. The family would like to acknowlege her wonderful caregiver, Jimmy Jones, as well as the entire hospice team of Gentiva Hospice for their tireless efforts. There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, October 10th, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory, Inc. , 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.
