Judy Johnson Obituary

Judy Lynn Johnson, 69, of Lynchburg, died Saturday, April 22, 2023. Born in Lynchburg, February 5, 1954, she was a daughter of Edna Mae Goad Johnson and the late Aubrey Floyd "Dick" Johnson. Judy was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church and a former member of Bible Baptist Church. She was involved in Education by teaching and working as a Librarian in the school system for 31 years. She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. In addition to her mother, she is survived by one sister, Kimberly Johnson Ramos of Lynchburg; two nieces Kaitlyn Ramos and Mari Ramos; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral service will be held 2 p. m. , Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Watson and Pastor Robert E. Lee, Jr. , officiating. Burial will follow in Old Herman Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Bible Baptist Church.
