Judy Ann Hubbard, daughter of the late E. C. "Jake" Gaines and Flossie Alberta Jackson Gaines, was born on February 6, 1944, in Dexter, Missouri, and departed this life on September 7, 2023, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of 79 years. Mrs. Hubbard was a former secretary for Countywide Abstract. She was a member of Mt. Gilead Hill General Baptist Church and a resident of Dexter, Missouri. On November 24, 1960, in Dexter, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Roger Hubbard. Mr. Hubbard survives of their home in Dexter. Along with her husband, she is survived by her son, Brad Hubbard and wife Christi of Dexter, Missouri; by her daughter, Kim Midkiff of Dexter, Missouri; by five grandchildren, Jackson Hubbard, Jeb Hubbard, Tate Midkiff, Zach Midkiff and wife Kelly, and Lexa Midkiff; and by her great-granddaughter, Faith Midkiff. Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Robert Midkiff, and by her sister, Glenda Kay Wolpers. Private, family only services. Betty Jane Wilkinson (nee Ball), age 96 of Rolla, Missouri, formerly of St. Louis, Missouri, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, November 30, 2023. She was born on February 6, 1927 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Arthur and Ethel (nee Grayson) Ball. On March 13,1946 she married the love of her life, James Marvin Wilkinson. They were blessed with three children. In addition to raising her family, she worked as a bookkeeper for several years after doing childcare in her home. She loved children and devoted a great deal of time as a Licensed foster parent for the Missouri Baptist Childrens Home. Working at Mothers Day Out at First Baptist Church of St. John was a joy for her also. She was saddened when she knew she needed to stop. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed working her puzzle books. She was active in Eastern Star at Home Chapter 313. She worked many of the star points and was a Worthy Matron and Deputy District Grand Matron in years past. She will be remembered for her smile and kind words. She was a longtime former member of Tower Grove Baptist Church, Overland Baptist, First Baptist Church of St. John, Jungs Station Baptist Church and finally Salem Avenue Baptist Church in Rolla. She loved to go to worship service and prayed every night. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jim; daughter, Nancy Gowen; and four brothers, William Ball, James Ball, Arthur Ball, and Robert Ball; and one sister, Patricia Lich. She is survived by two children, Judy Case, and James David Wilkinson and his wife, Karen; four grandchildren, Laurie Wallace, Angela Vijil, Zach Case and James Wilkinson Jr; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Phillip Ball and his wife, Sharon; nieces, nephews, cousins, their families, and dear friends. Services: Visitation at SHEPARD FUNERAL CHAPEL, 9255 Natural Bridge Road at I-170, St. Louis, Missouri (314-426-6000) on Wednesday, December 6 from 9:30 a. m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a. m. Burial follows at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis, Missouri. Norma Jean Bierman Koslow passed away peacefully on November 27, 2023. Born on July 26, 1931, at The Jewish Hospital in St. Louis to Ada and Sam Bierman, Norma Jean was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. Norma is preceded in death by her husband Marvin, her sons Steven and Bryan, and her grandson Sam. She is survived by her son Jeffrey Koslow, daughter-in-law Valerie, brother Arnold Bierman, sister-in-law Susan, her grandson Stevie Koslow, her nieces Sara Rothfeder, Lisa Franklin, and Karen Moreno along with many great nieces and nephews who adored her. A vivacious and humorous woman, Norma adored her children and dedicated countless afternoons scouring her favorite discount stores for deals, particularly for her sons. No sale was left unexplored, especially when it came to finding that extra pair of pants! Her commitment to her family extended to her role as the CEO of her home, where she mastered the art of homemaking. Renowned for her culinary skills, she even taught microwave cooking classes, and her home was known for its impeccable cleanliness, complete with the meticulous ironing of Marvin's undershirts. Marvin, Bryan and Norma honed their knack for scoring great deals at local garage sales. Their passion for finding hidden treasures evolved into a successful business where they shared their fantastic finds with others. Together, they navigated the world of bargain hunting, leaving lasting memories and lots of great stories! Norma's quick sense of humor and resilience will be dearly missed. Despite facing numerous challenges in life, she maintained a positive outlook, always finding the best in every circumstance and person. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Norma's memory can be made to the United Hebrew Congregation in St. Louis. Katherine E. Eason, affectionately known as Katie, passed away on November 25, 2023, a courageous five-year battle with cancer, at the age of 30. Katie is survived by her loving parents, David E. and Glenda M. (nee Rottler) Eason; her devoted brother, Timothy E. Eason; and her caring sister, Kristina E. Eason. She leaves behind her grandmother, Helen M. Rottler, and is preceded in death by her grandfather, Donald E. Eason, and her late grandfather Glennon C. Rottler and late grandmother Florence L. Eason. Katie also had a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins who meant the world to her. She was truly blessed with many wonderful friends. Katie had an incredible love for her family that knew no bounds. She graduated from Notre Dame Catholic High School and went on to pursue a marketing degree at Missouri State University. Katie's vibrant spirit led her to work at Hollywood Casino where she found joy in every moment. She had a passion for shopping and would always ask those around her, "What are you thinking for dinner?" Her time spent with friends was cherished and filled with laughter and unforgettable memories. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Brian VanTine and his exceptional medical staff at Siteman Cancer Center for their unwavering care and support throughout Katie's journey. A visitation in memory of Katie will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from 10:00 am until the service begins at 12:00 pm at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Chapel located at 4830 Lemay Ferry Road in St. Louis, MO 63129. Following the service, Katie will be laid to rest at St. Paul Churchyard Cemetery.
