Judith Ann "Judy" Warner, age 74, died peacefully Thursday, September 7, 2023 in Grand Rapids with family by her side. She was born May 3, 1949 at her grandparents' house in Stanton, the daughter of William and Doris (Hardy) Frost. Judy enjoyed tending to her flowers, watching the birds, and was a talented painter. Her true love was her family; she was a devoted mother and especially loved being 'GRAMS'. Playing board games and cards with family were some of her favorite activities. She loved to win and rub it in to her grandchildren. She also wasn't above occasionally cheating to do so! Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd, in 1976. She was also preceded in death by four siblings, Peggy Johnson, Roger Frost, Sharon Jolls, and Linda Vansconis; and favorite nephew, Jon Thompson. Judy is survived by her daughter, Tracy (Kevin) Weadley of Greenville; grandchildren, Kierstyn (Curtis) Clements of Greenville, Teagan (Morgan) Weadley of Lakeview, and Kaelyn Weadley of Lansing; great-granddaughter, Leighton Weadley; siblings, Harold Frost of Crystal, Mary (Clare) Crawfis of Carson City, Victor Frost of Crystal, and Brenda (Lee) Thompson of Sidney; sister-in-law, Nancy Strause of Belding, many nieces, nephews, and her 'sweet girl'. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, September 15, 2023 at Hurst Funeral Home, with visitation from 12:00 to 1:00 pm prior to the service. Pastor Matt Stone will serve as officiant, and graveside services will immediately follow at Crystal Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at Timbers Event Center (7033 S. Sheridan Rd. , Sheridan, MI 48884) following the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the National Kidney Foundation.
