Judy Hudson passed away peacefully in her home in Los Lunas NM . , on Sunday, October 1, 2023. She was a loving mother of four. She was survived by Debra Archibeque, Willie Ortega, and Sam Cozart. And will be joining her firstborn Son, Rickey Breer (Deceased) in heaven with our Lord. Judy was 85 when she passed. Judy is also survived by her two sisters -Sharon Brick and Rhonda Vigil and her Husband Larry Vigil. (Deceased sister and brother-in-law Melba and Chuck Hamilton. ) Judy is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 22 great-grandkids, and 3 Great-great-grandchildren. Many nieces and other family members also survive her. She worked as a Nursing Assistant most of her life and then worked as a grandma for the foster grandparent program in Los Lunas, NM . Beverly A. Gardner passed on, peacefully, in her home, on Monday, November 27, 2023. Beverly was born on Wednesday, October 26, 1938, in Winslow, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce P. Gardner, and her parents Ruby and Sterling MacMillan. She is survived by her brother, William (wife Carolyn), daughter and son-in-law, Tamie and Chris Pargas, grandsons, Josh (wife Erin), and Jake Pargas, a great-grandson, Ezekiel Bear Pargas, Jeff (wife Carrie and daughter Lucy), Ty (wife Jennifer and children Abigail and Jude), and nephews – Neal, Ross, and Martin (and their wives Janel and Denise and children Ariel, Sean and Kaylee), Mary Lou and Kenneth Harper, her very best friend, Patricia Shine Wiltshire, and so many more wonderful and loving family and friends. Beverly lived a blessed and wonderful life to its fullest. She spent many of her younger years in Mississippi, where many of her family still reside. She met her husband, Bruce, after her family moved from Arizona to Albuquerque, NM. They met at an ice hockey match where he was the goalie for the Kirtland Flyers. They were married in March of 1956; she was 17 years old. He had to sign as her guardian for her high school report cards during her senior year. Bruce was stationed at Kirtland Air Force Base, in Albuquerque, after enlisting in the USAF in his hometown of Palisades Park, NJ. Beverly worked as a bank teller, in retail sales (JC Penney), and cosmetology (Lancôme at The Broadway) after Tamie went into high school. Beverly and Bruce enjoyed boating, camping, snowmobiling, fishing, bowling, and car racing. She was one of the first powder-puff race car drivers in NM. After Bruce passed away, Beverly traveled to many exciting and fun places with her girlfriends and with her family. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, Hallmark movies, shopping, sewing, designing, and making masks (during COVID), chatting with friends and family, eating out, and anything sweet. Beverly, Mom, and Nana loved life and her family and friends! Beverly’s Celebration of Life will be held at FRENCH – Lomas, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuq. , NM, on Thursday, December 14, 2023. Visitation will be held at 9:00 a. m. , Celebration Service at 10:00 a. m. and a Reception to follow from 11:00 a. m. - 12:30 p. m. ; and then family will leave for Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:30pm for Committal Service at 2:00 p. m. Please note – the actual burial will not be public, as per the cemetery’s guidelines. Annie Hanoumis, aged 92, was a beloved matriarch of her family. She was born in 1931 in Sena, NM to parents, Manuel DeAtocha Sena and Felicita Aguilar. She had three siblings, Della Torres (George), Delcie Garcia (Joe), and Henry Sena, all of whom have gone to be with the Lord. She was raised in Raton, NM and graduated from Raton High School, Class of 1950. She began work as a bookkeeper for a local hardware store until 1954 when she married Tommy Hanoumis from Dawson, NM. Tom served for four years in the United States Air Force before he married Annie. In 1956 the newlyweds left Raton and moved to Phoenix, AZ where some of Tom's family had settled. It was there, as a customer service representative at a local bank, that Annie started a lifelong career in the banking industry. In 1957, their only son, Greg was born. In 1963 Annie and Tom moved back to New Mexico and settled in Albuquerque. Annie began working for Albuquerque First National, which later became Sunwest Bank. After helping hundreds of thousands of people with their banking needs and becoming an expert in her field, she retired in 1994. She became a widow somewhat early, when Tom passed away suddenly in 1987. She spent much of her retirement helping others. She was a strong and undeniably caring woman who donated blood regularly, volunteered for several years helping seniors with their taxes, and was devoted to her family. At home she loved tending to her yard and reading the newest Danielle Steele book. You could also find her watching Lawrence Welk or ice skating competitions and listening to Vikki Carr. She also loved being a grandma and great-aunt. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and her husband. She is survived by her son, Greg Hanoumis (Terri); granddaughter, Ashley Kerns (Michael); great-grandson, Thomas; niece, Susan Gonzales (Bob); great-nephews, Bobby Jr. and Frank Gonzales; and countless cousins and friends. George Antonio Romero, a dedicated husband, loving brother, US Army Veteran, and friend to many, passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 73 in Albuquerque, NM. Born on July 11, 1950, in Albuquerque, George led a life filled with accomplishments and cherished moments. In 1970, George met the love of his life, Theresa Romero (formally Zamora), and the couple united in marriage in 1971. Over the course of their remarkable 52-year journey together, George and Theresa built a beautiful bond based on love, trust, and unwavering support. For more than four decades, they worked side by side to establish and nurture several successful businesses. George's entrepreneurial spirit was evident through his ownership and operation of various ventures such as the Feed Store of Edgewood and Romero Lumber in both Albuquerque and Edgewood. He poured his heart into these enterprises, making them prosperous hubs within their respective communities. Beyond his professional endeavors, George possessed a deep affection for animals of all kinds. His home was host to horses, dogs aplenty, peacocks spreading their vibrant feathers, chickens scrambling with clucking delight, pigs rolling around playfully – the list goes on. Animals held a special place in George's heart. Following his retirement in 2012, George found great joy in spending quality time with his beloved wife and cherished family members. The presence of his siblings Eleno Romero (Patricia "Patty" dec. ), Peter Romero, Dennis Romero (Sandra), sisters Theresa Armijo (Henry), Mary Hart (Colin), along with uncles, aunts, cousins, numerous nieces and nephews brought immense happiness to his days. The sense of camaraderie shared among them created unforgettable memories that will be treasured forever. George was preceded in death by his parents Jose J and Amalia Romero. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Theresa, who stood by his side for over five decades. Alongside her, George's legacy lives on through their 24 Godchildren, a testament to the profound impact he had on others' lives. Additionally, he leaves behind a network of friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him. As an expression of love and respect, the following individuals will serve as pallbearers during George's final journey: Ramon Romero, Jerome Bustamante, Dennis Romero, Sal Zamora, Diego Zamora, and Patrick Zamora. The honor of an honorary pallbearer will be "Cloudy". A solemn ceremony commemorating George's life will take place on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Santuario De San Martin De Porras Catholic Church located at 8301 Camino San Martin SW in Albuquerque. The viewing will commence at 10:15 a. m. followed by a Rosary at 10:30 a. m. A mass honoring George will be held at 11:00 a. m. , after which his interment will be conducted with reverence and grace at 12:30 p. m. in Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery located at 7999 Wyoming Blvd NE in Albuquerque. Glenda was born on November 26, 1955 in Hereford, Texas and went home to be with the Lord on November 30, 2023 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She graduated from Santa Rosa High School in Santa Rosa, New Mexico and was retired from Albertson in Gallup. She was a loving person, great Cook and loved being with her Grandchildren and family. She is survived by her loving husband, Pat Lopez of Gallup, New Mexico. Kimberly Jane Partain, lovingly known as Jane or Gram, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2023, in Albuquerque, NM, at the age of 71. She was born on November 29, 1952, in Levelland, Texas, to her parents Jim and Hazel Lewis. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, along with two of her siblings, David and Albert. She is survived by her siblings Jim Lewis, Robert Lewis, and Katey Vowell. Jane is remembered fondly by her beloved husband Rick, her three children - DeWayne, Clay, and Tory, her nine cherished grandchildren, and her five great-grandchildren. She was a certified antique appraiser and had a remarkable talent for assessing vintage clothing. Jane's expertise in antiques led her to open various businesses, including an antique store in Kansas and an online vintage clothing store, where her passion for preserving history shone brightly. Jane was known for her affinity for all things Blue Willow themed, which became her calling card online and in antique dealings. Jane's heart swelled during the holiday season, particularly Christmas, as she adorned trees and homes with beautiful decorations. Her talent as a crafter was evident in the intricate ornaments and gifts she created for all occasions, reflecting her love for family and celebrations. Gram adored her role as a grandmother and played an active part in each grandchild's life, organizing themed parties and celebrations that created lasting memories. Gram's imagination ran wild, as she created fairy houses, and other fantastic designs with her grandchildren. Her love was often expressed through her skilled crafts and creations. Jane's talents extended to sewing, where she showcased her skills in creating clothes, quilts, mittens, socks, and many others. She shared her passion for old movies, especially Alfred Hitchcock classics, and delighted in watching them with her family. Later in life, Jane delved into genealogy and found immense joy in helping her husband, Rick, trace his lost relatives. Their shared entrepreneurial spirit led them to embark on various ventures together, including their involvement in an antique store and an online vintage clothing business. In her later years, she and Rick embraced ballroom dancing, making numerous friends and attending quinceaneras with their dance instructor Mariano while residing in Las Vegas. In their retirement, Jane and Rick found solace in traveling to their cabin in Taos, NM, cherishing each moment together. Despite battling breast cancer for 17 years, Jane's unwavering will and determination to fight inspired many. Her doctors acknowledged her remarkable strength and courage throughout her journey. A celebration of Jane's remarkable life will be held in late January in Albuquerque, honoring the legacy of a woman whose love, creativity, and strength touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed and remembered with profound love and admiration by her family and friends.Show more
