Judith Glennon Obituary

Judith Diane Glennon, 76, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023, at home. Funeral services will be held 11am Saturday, April 29, at Iles Westover Chapel, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery. Judi was born November 22, 1946, in Chicago, IL, to Lawrence and Evelyn Gabl. She married Thomas J. Glennon on August 7, 1965, in Chicago and made their home in central Iowa where they raised their five children. Judi was a customer service representative for Nationwide Insurance for many years. Judi enjoyed cross stitch, cooking, making the dollar go as far as she could and keeping up with her family on Facebook. Her greatest joy was raising her children. After her five children flew the nest, she and Tom enjoyed life by helping raise their grandson, Keirick. Judi is survived by her four children, Sean (Monica) Glennon of Olathe, KS, Patrick (Kim) Glennon of Tucson, AZ, Brian Glennon of West Des Moines, and Meghan (Pat) Williams of Windsor Heights, IA; three grandchildren, Keirick Glennon, Nathan Hoover, and Jordan Meeker; and her sister, Donna Page. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Glennon, daughter, Kimberly Meeker, and her brothers, Lawrence Gabl, Jr. . and Jimmy Gabl.
