Judith Cook Obituary

Judith Ann Cook, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 22, 2023. She was born on October 21, 1940 in Franklin, Indiana to the late John and Dorothy Weddle. She was a graduate of Southport High School and Indiana University. She was a retired principal at Whiteland Elementary, a member of the Indiana School Principals Association, the Red Hat Society and she held the designation of Master Gardener. Judy loved to garden and travel, with Florida being her favorite destination. She was crazy about her pets; her cockapoo Sadie was her loyal companion in her later years. She was also a fan of the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers, IU basketball, and was a long-time Indiana University football season ticket holder. She is survived by her children, Randall (Gina) Cook and Robbin Cook; grandchildren, Hayden, Wyatt, and Austin Cook, Jennifer (Tim) Sparks, and Daniel Dennis; great grandchildren, Jacob, Hailey and Ty Sparks; brother, Michael Weddle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Cook; her son, Mark Wilson and daughter Diane Dennis. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 4:00pm-6:00pm with a Memorial Service at 6:00pm at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana.
