Juanita Elaine Myers, 89, of Dixon, IL, passed away Monday, February 11, 2019, at her home in Dixon. She retired in 1991 from City National Bank, Dixon. Juanita was born August 11, 1929, in Dixon, the daughter of John and Mary (Overman) Jenkins. She married Raymond C. Myers on July 12, 1947 in Dixon. He preceded her in death on September 2, 2003. Juanita was a long-time member of the Dixon Lioness Club. Survivors include her two daughters, Sandra Hait, Nancy (Dave) Peebles; one son, Thomas (Cathy) Myers of Dixon; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and three sisters, Bonnie Hoeper, Joyce Godt, and Julia Huggins. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Kathleen Hummel; one granddaughter; three sisters, Midge Cavanaugh, Patsy Ross, Evelyn Gonzales; an infant brother, Tommy; two brothers, John Jenkins, and Richard Jenkins, and a son-in-law Kenneth Hait. Visitation will be from 10 - 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, Dixon, followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral service at the funeral home, with the Rev. Blaine Miner, pastor of Dixon Church of the Brethren, officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Dixon. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
