Age - 90
May 10, 2023
Norton Shores, MI
"Mrs. Juanita Janette "Nita" Moseler, age 90, went to be with her Lord on Monday, May 8, 2023 with her family be her side. She was born in Muskegon on August 29, 1932, to Harold Dennison and Nellie (Kidner) Jacobs and had been a lifelong resident of the area. On October 20, 1951, Juanita married the love of her life, Leslie Harold "Bud" Moseler, and together they shared over 55 years of marriage. She was a hard worker and served those in need. When her mother was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, Juanita made sure the laundry was done and styled her hair. After her husband's Parkinson's Disease progressed, she spent the remainder of his life caring for him. She freely shared her love of Christ with everyone she met and was a member of Wolf Lake Community Church. She was a godly, gracious and faithful wife, mother, and homemaker. She treasured her family, instilled in them strong Christian values, and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as grandma and great-grandma "Mama Nita". Her loved ones knew her as a reliable prayer warrior, confidant, and someone to go to for simple wisdom and practical advice. She was highly skilled at sewing, mending, crocheting, cooking, baking, laundering, and keeping an immaculate house. Some of her favorite pastimes were listening to music and singing along with her sister and best friend, Gerry (Harry) Stapel, playing cards, sketching and drawing, shopping, playing the piano, babysitting (well into her 80's), keeping a beautiful garden that doubled as an ice-skating rink for the neighborhood during the winter, going out to eat, having many fun-filled vacations with her husband, children, and grandchildren, and most of all, laughing with her ever-growing family. God has prepared a new home for Juanita and called her safely home. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. Her favorite Bible memory verse was John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. " Beloved mother of Margie Lenau and Terri (Gerald) Leffring; proud grandmother of her twelve grandchildren, Juanita Westerbeek, Dawn (Scott) Dusendang, Jeremy (Ivanna) Leffring, Jacob (Abigail) Leffring, Leslie (Avi) Forstein, Ryan Lenau, Eric Lenau, Jera (Bradley) Saniga, Jenna Leffring and Jillian (Brandon) Garnaat; and twenty-five great grandchildren. She is welcomed into Heaven's gates by her "Heavenly welcoming committee": her mother and father; husband, Leslie Harold "Bud" Moseler; grandsons, Joshua Leffring and Jordan Leffring. SERVICES: the family will be having a private "Celebration of Life" service at a later date at Wolf Lake Community Church with Rev. Bryce Sherwood and Rev. Wade Rumley officiating. INTERNMENT: will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Moseler requested all memorials be made out to Wolf Lake Community Church.
