Juanita "Nita" Allen passed away peacefully at her home on June 13, 2022, at the age of 63. Juanita is survived by seven children: Lakeisha, Monique, Daisy, Denise, Joshua, Richard Allen, and Jonathan Etienne; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also survived by nine siblings, and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Horace Allen Sr. and Peggy Allen Hughes (Jimmie Hughes), son Gilbert Etienne Jr. , siblings: Peggy Denise Allen, Horace Allen Jr. , and Richard Robertson; one great niece and her great grandparents. Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Friday, June 24, 2022 for 1:00 p. m. at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy. , New Orleans, LA 70126.
