Joyce Sheppard Obituary

Joyce Evelyn Byrd Sheppard - age 87 of Loudon, passed away Friday evening, April 21, 2023 at her home. Joyce was a member of New Providence Baptist Church. She retired from Lakeshore Mental Institution after many years of service. Joyce loving cooking for her family and having family gatherings. Preceded in death by her husband, Paul Sheppard; sons, William Earl "Hippie" Range, Jr. and Tim Range; daughter, Becky Range; parents, Wayne and Amy Byrd; brothers: Dub, Jay, Jim, Bud, and Ronnie Byrd, and sister, Amy Shubert. Survived by her daughters, Rita Ann Range Collins and husband, Klete, and April Range; grandchildren: Holly Daniels and husband, Albert Compton, Megan Range, Beth Ann Range, Whitney Range, David Range, Chris Range, Amy Range, and Leona Range; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister, Marlene McNabb many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 26th from 5 p. m. to 7 p. m. at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p. m. with Rev. Johnny Walker officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 Thursday morning and proceed to Pleasant Hill Cemetery for 11 a. m. graveside services.
