Joyce Marie Ranone (nee Karpi), 79, of Carlstadt for over 50 years, passed away on June 19, 2022. For 41 years, she worked for the Borough of Carlstadt, lastly as the tax assessor, retiring in 2019. Mrs. Ranone was a parishioner of St. Joseph's R. C. Church. She enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City to gamble and was a fan of Harry Potter. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she adored her dog, Sweetie. Beloved wife of the late Ronald J. Ranone, Sr. Loving mother of Cheryl Moe and her husband Raymond, Michael Ranone, John Robert "JR" Ranone and his wife Colleen and the late Joy Welsh and Ronald J. Ranone, Jr. Cherished grandmother of Mitchell Welsh, Jr. , Taylor Welsh, Brandon Welsh, Alyssa Ranone and Cole Ranone. Dear sister of John Karpi and the late Anthony Karpi, Diane Whelan and Marie Walker. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Funeral Service will be held at the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Lyndhurst.
