Mrs. Bowman was a current resident of Athens, AL, a native of Greenhill, AL, a homemaker, mother, and faithful Church of Christ Minister's wife and a member of Hobbs Street Church of Christ in Athens. Mrs. Bowman is survived by: Son: David Jackson Bowman and wife Becky of Athens Daughter: Danna Bowman Bass and husband Thomas of Nashville, TN Grandchildren: Hillary Elizabeth Mead, Hannah Katherine Mead, David Noah Bowman, & Jackson Dean Bowman She was preceded in death by: Parents: Vernon Jackson Johns and Reba Rebecca Hine Johns Husband: David Harmon Bowman Visitation will be Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 11:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Shiloh Church of Christ. The funeral will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the church with Bro. Howell Bigham, Bro. Barry Grider, and David Bowman officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leon Quillen, David Quillen, Mike Johns, Scott Bobo, Chris Langford, and David Bowman. Honorary pallbearers will be Noah and Jackson Bowman.
