Cramer, Joy Anna - Age 78, of Fenton, died October 6, 2023. No services will be held. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden. Joy was born May 11, 1945 in Escondido, California, the daughter of Jack Harmon and Patricia (Mooney) Harmon. She was a 1963 graduate of Kearsley High School and went on to earn her Bachelors Degree for Northwood University in 1985. She was married to Chester Wayne Cramer on July 29, 1966 in Flint; he preceded her in death March 19, 2009. She worked for Citizens Bank for 20 plus years, and the Hurley Medical Center for many years. Surviving are: daughter, Janel (John "Brian") Layton of Fenton; grandson Maverick Snider of Fenton; brother, Jan William (Lucy) Harmon. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. GOLDMAN, Gale Allison (Gilmer) -- of Flint, Michigan, age 65, died peacefully on December 3, 2023. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, December 6 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc (The funeral will be available to be viewed by livestream at Gale's page at www. sharpfuneralhomes. com) Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 AM until the time of the funeral on Wednesday December 6. Gale was born June 21, 1958, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Phillip A. Gilmer and Louise May (Miller) Troupe. Gale attended Flint Southwestern High School and Baker Business College. She resided for many years in Palatine, Illinois where she raised her children with husband Ian Goldman. After Ian died in 2011, Gale returned to Michigan, eventually reuniting with high school sweetheart Bill Belcher. Gale was a loving mother and grandmother, sister, and aunt. She had a sweet and sensitive nature and was committed to social justice. She loved all animals and especially cats, dogs, and horses. She learned to ride in later life and enjoyed taking care of her horse. Gale was an avid collector of dolls and doll houses, as well as curios and collectibles of all sorts. She was a passionate fan of the Beatles, the Detroit Tigers, the Chicago Cubs, and enjoyed watching golf, old movies, and TV shows. Other pastimes included reading, gardening, and assembling miniature houses. Gale had a spirit of adventure and loved traveling, amusement parks and high adrenaline activities like zip-lining. Gale went into rehab in 2014 and maintained sobriety for the rest of her life. Along the way, she became a person of faith which brought her solace as her body succumbed to cancer. Gale will be deeply missed by her partner Bill Belcher, sons Philip (Granneta) Taylor, Jonathon (Doris) Goldman and Ryan (Stephane) Goldman; grandchildren Ian Goldman, Dominic Goldman, Austin Goldman and Gabriell Balatero; siblings Mart (Winnie) Gilmer, Boak (Debbie) Gilmer, Toni (Jerry DeVries) Perrine, Kelly (Vern) Freer, Paul (Cindy) Gilmer, and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She leaves behind her beloved companion animals Calpurnia and Gabrielle. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
