"Charles Earl Murphy, age 84, of Mulberry, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born June 3, 1939 in the Cass community to Floyd and Oma Ellison Murphy. Charles was a lifelong resident of Franklin County. He attended White Rock University/Pleasant View School. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Charles killed at least one buck every year for sixty five years. He loved the Mulberry River and spent a lot of time there fishing and camping. He would make minnow traps in the river and set trotlines.
