JOSEPHINE POLIMENI PASSED AWAY PEACEFULLY ON OCTOBER 8, 2023 WITH HER FAMILY BY HER SIDE "JOSIE" WIFE OF PREDECEASED HUSBAND JOSEPH POLIMENI, WERE MARRIED AND RAISED THEIR KIDS IN BROOKLYN WITH MANY YEARS OF FOND MEMORIES AND LOVE HER SISTER FRAN AND PREDECEASED BROTHERINLAW "CURLY" SHARED WITH HER SO MANY YEARS OF LAUGHS, LOVE AND WONDERFUL COMPANY MOM SPOKE WITH HER SISTER QUITE OFTEN, AND THAT MADE MOM HAPPY HER CHILDREN VINCENT, LORRAINE, JAMES, JOANNE HER GRANDCHILDREN JOSEPH, JIMMIE, JENNIFER, CHRISTOPHER, GINA, CHRISTINA, DOMINIC, STEPHANIE, DANNY HER GREAT GRANDCHILD. . . ANNABELLE WHETHER SHE WAS CALLED "MOM","MOMMY", "JO","SISTER", "NANNY" OR "NANNA" THEY ALL MEANT THE WORLD TO HER AND GAVE HER MANY YEARS OF LOVE,HAPPIENSS,LAUGHTER AND BLESSED FAMILY MEMORIES JOSIE LOVED TO COOK, LOVED TO EAT, (ESPECIALLY CHINESE), AND LOVED TO BE WITH HER FAMILY LOVED THE CHALLENGE OF DOING A PUZZLE (TO PERFECTION) AND THEN HANGING IT IN UP WHEN DONE, ENJOYED HER "CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL" BOOKS TO READ, SAYING THE ROSARY, OR BEING CHALLENGED BY HER "WORD SEARCH" MAGAZINES AND, OF COURSE STILL ENJOYED HER GAME SHOWS ON TV (SOME FAVORITES BEING "THE PRICE IS RIGHT AND LETS MAKE A DEAL", AND THE "COOKING CHALLENGE SHOWS" ) MOM WAS AT HER HAPPIEST WHEN SHE SAW HER FAMILY HAPPY SHE GAVE OF HERSELF WHENEVER NEEDED WHEN SHE LIVED IN HER SENIOR BUILDING, SHE MADE MANY FRIENDS WHOM ALL TRULY ENJOYED HER COMPANY AND USE TO COMPLIMENT ON HOW "JOE" ALWAYS WANTS TO HELP (THEY ALWAYS SAID, "YOUR MOM FEEDS US! WE LOVE WHEN WE SMELL HER COOKING") AS WELL AS HER MANY "GOOD" FRIENDS IN THE BUILDING (ESPECIALLY HER DEAR FRIEND LORRAINE WHO CONSTANTLY (TILL THE PRESENT TIME) CHECKED IN ON HER AND THEY WOULD CHAT ON THE PHONE WEEKLY) MARILYN, GEORGE, & DIANE WHO RAN THE BUILDING WERE THERE ALL THE TIME TO BE SURE MOM WAS SAFE AND ALWAYS MADE THE TIME TO TALK OR JUST "CHECK IN" THANK YOU ALL FOR ALWAYS BEING THERE AFTER MOM COULD NO LONGER BE LEFT ALONE, (FOR SAFETY) SHE RESIDED IN A NURSING HOME THAT WE WERE ALL SO FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO HAVE 5 MINUTES AWAY FROM HER FAMILY THIS ALLOWED US TO SEE HER EVERYDAY AND MANY TIMES A DAY THE STAFF AT "COMPLETE CARE" IN TOMS RIVER FROM WHEN YOU ENTERED THE FRONT DESK, TO HER PT GIRLS (WITH JOANNA ALWAYS GIVING MOM A SMILE AS SHE SAW HER IN THE HALLWAYS), HER NURSES,(ANNA, ANGELA, DEBBIE, RADINE, JOAN, WILL,(JUST TO NAME A FEW), (ALWAYS TAKING THE TIME TO CHECK ON MOM AND GIVE US KIND ADVICE WHEN NEEDED) "ALL" HER ACTIVITY STAFF (LINDA AND NAN VISITING MOMS ROOM AND PUTTING A SMILE ON MOMMY'S FACE),(LINDA ALWAYS CALLING MOM, "MY GIRL") AS WELL AS JOANNA, AND LOUIS. . . "ALL" OF THEM ALWAYS TRYING TO KEEP THAT SPARK AND ENERGY IN MOM NEVER FAILING TO TAKE HER TO DAILY ACTIVITIES AND, OF COURSE HER LOVING AIDS, (ALL OF THEM WERE SO KIND), CASEY (WHO "RENAMED" MOMMY "JO JO"), JEN, SALLY,TRISH, DESIRE', GIANNA, KEYANNA, AMBER, CRYSTAL ALWAYS POSITIVE, ALWAYS ENCOURAGING MOM TO BE ACTIVE WE THANK YOU "ALL" FROM MATCHING MOMS OUTFITS IN THE MORNING TO CATERING TO HER EVERY NEED , TO PHYSICALLY WALKING WITH HER, TO CONSTANTLY SPARKING HER TO BE PART OF THE DAY, TO ENDING HER EVENING SO VERY COMFORTABLE!! (PUTTING OUT HER "SNACKS" SHE LOVED TO MUNCH ON) HER EXCELLENT KITCHEN STAFF (STANLEY AND NADINE ASSURING THAT MOMS MENU EACH WEEK WAS TO HER ENJOYMENT) THEY ALL WERE THE MOST CARING WE HAVE EVER SEEN THEY TREATED MOM AS IF SHE WERE THEIR OWN (THANK YOU) THE ENTIRE PLACE WAS EFFICIENT AND MOM GOT THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE MANY FRIENDS, EVERY SINGLE ONE LOVING MOM AND ENJOYING HER COMPANY SHE ENJOYED ACTIVITIES EVERYDAY,(WITH BINGO BEING HER FAVORITE) MONTHLY MASS, LIVE MUSIC EVERY FRIDAY, ALWAYS HAPPY TO GET HER HAIR AND NAILS DONE, AND TO JUST ENJOY HER EVERDAY! JUST RECENTLY SHE CELEBRATED HER 96th BIRTHDAY FIRSLTY, WITH HER FRIENDS, AND A PIZZA PARTY AND BINGO. . . THEN WE TOOK HER TO THE BOARDWALK FOR SOME FUN IT WAS A "GOOD" BIRTHDAY WEEKEND FOR HER SHE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON HER FACE EACH DAY WHEN WE SAW HER MOM CONSTANTLY TOLD US HOW WONDERFUL EVERYONE TREATS HER SHE NEVER COMPLAINED AND WAS A PLEASURE BEING AROUND THANK YOU COMPLETE CARE FOR KEEPING "LIFE" IN MOM! COMPLETE CARE WAS SIMPLY A BLESSING ALLOWING MOM TO HAVE 24/7 EYES ON HER, WHILE STILL ENABLING US TO SEE HER EVERYDAY, TO COME OUT FOR FAMILY DINNERS OR A STROLL ON THE BOARDWALK(FOR HER JELLY APPLES,ICE CREAM AND PIZZA) WHENEVER POSSIBLE MOMMY LOVED HER KIDS AND GRANDKIDS WITH ALL HER HEART AND WAS SO FORTUNATE TO HAVE HER GREAT GRANDCHILD WHO MEANT THE WORLD TO HER ANNABELLE GOT TO VISIT MOMMY WITH ALL OF US AND PLAYED CARDS WITH HER (MAKING "NANNY" LAUGH AS SHE WOULD WIN HER AT WAR) MOMMY LOVED HER PAST MEMORIES OF JUST RELAXING IN THE BACKYARD WATCHING EVERYONE HAVE FUN ONE OF HER FONDEST MEMORIES WAS HER BIRTHDAY WHICH (BEING THE 4TH OF JULY), BROUGHT HER MANY YEARS OF CELEBRATION, LOVE, LAUGHTER AND "WATER FIGHTS" (CRAZY,MAJOR WATER FIGHTS!!)(lol) WITH ALL OF US SHE REMEMEBRED OUR "FAMILY" THANKSGIVINGS AND ENJOYING STAYING UP LATE PREPPING FOR IT THE NIGHT BEFORE SHE WAS A VERY GOOD PERSON WHO LOVED AND WAS GRATEFUL TO EVERY DAY GOD GAVE HER (AND NEVER FAILED TO THANK HIM EACH DAY) AT THE VERY END , ALLS SHE TALKED ABOUT WAS HER PAST, ESPECIALLY HER HUSBAND, SONGS THEY SANG WHEN HE PLAYED HIS GUITAR,(HARMONIZING TOGETHER) AND HEARING HER SON SING ALL THE "OLDIES" (ALWAYS GAVE HER THAT "MOM PRIDE"), TALKED ABOUT HER FAMILY, HER CHILDREN, HER GRANDCHILDREN, HER GREAT GRANDCHILD, AND HER FRIENDS, WITH "ALL GOOD" MEMORIES EVERY DAY MOM NEVER FAILED TO SAY, "I LOVE YOU"("MORE") MOM WAS A VERY GOOD PERSON AND SHE WILL SURELY BE MISSED BY ALL OF US AND LOVED FOREVER THANK YOU MOMMY To to the family or in memory of Josephine (Vizzio) Polimeni, please

Donald Walsh, known for his gregarious personality passed away November 22 at the age of 94. He was born in Newark and moved to Belleville as a young boy. He graduated from Belleville High School and joined the United States Navy after graduation. Don met and married Jean Wallace and moved with her to Monmouth County where they raised their three daughters. Don was an active member of St. Mary's Church and School in Deal. He was a popular neighbor in his Wayside Community. Don worked in the Marine industry all of his career and enjoyed the socializing and entertaining required by his job. He retired at the age of 62 and moved with Jean to Ocean County to be closer to his daughters, four grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Don was well known in his Toms River neighborhood as a friendly and personable neighbor. His booming laugh and dapper personage will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. Donald is predeceased by his wife, Jean, his parents, James Walsh, Mabel Zeller Walsh, sister, Doris Mickens, brother, James Walsh, and son-in-law Martin Hughes. Donald is survived by his daughters, Kathleen Hughes, Beth Walsh, Nancy Fisher and her husband Thomas; grandchildren, Thomas Fisher, Jr. and his wife Tiffany; Brian Fisher and his wife Alissa; Patricia Martin and her husband Patrick; Katie Runde and her husband Daniel; great grandchildren, Samantha, Liam, Sophie, Levin, and Trent Fisher; Jane and Alice Runde; Leo, Zachary, and Wade Martin. "Thelma was born in Trenton, Georgia, March 18, 1927. She was born again in July of 1964. She and James M. (Tubby) Case were married in 1948. She was mother of six children, grandmother of 14, great-grandmother of 24 and great-great-grandmother of 4. Thelma loved gardening and being outside. She enjoyed sharing her love of the Lord with everyone and especially loved working in children's ministry. She led Good News Clubs at her home for Child Evangelism Fellowship and worked with Calvary Baptist Church in the Bus Ministry, as a Sunday School teacher and in the Junior Church where she was like a mother to many children who attended. After losing her husband, Tubby, to cancer in 1985, Thelma married George Trask in 2002. Upon doing so, she gained 5 children, 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. George and Thelma enjoyed working at Sand Mountain Bible Camp, assisting with meal preparation, and keeping the flower beds beautiful. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Jack Pryor, grandson, Michael McMahan, brother, Charles Pryor, sister, Grace Pryor Kervin, daughter-in-law, Jackie Case, and son-in-law, David Godsey. She is survived by her husband, George, and her children, Larry (Louise) Case, Theresa (Bill) Gearrin, Bob (Lynda) Case, Donna Godsey, Phyllis (Mike) McMahan, and Jack (Rhonda) Case, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. A special thanks to Hearth Hospice, especially Roxanne and Mary. The family will receive friends Friday, September 15, 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton, GA and Saturday, September 16th from 12:00-1:00 followed by the service at 1:00 at Rising Fawn Baptist Church. Thelma's request: "Plan the funeral at a time when bus kids and Sunday School members can come, if they want to. I know they have all grown up and now have families of their own, but I have often seen some of them and they remind me. " Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jamey Case. We mourn the loss of Steven Stukes who is now in heaven in comfort and peace with his parents, Rita and Gus Stukes, his sister Patricia Bobko, and family and friends who have departed. Steve was the beloved Uncle and Godfather to Kristin Bobko Johnson and Steven Bobko who warmly welcomed their spouses Rob and Amy into the family, a loving Great Uncle to Colin Steven and Emma Patricia Johnson, a wonderful Brother-in-Law to Gary Bobko, and a caring Godfather to Daniel Aulisi. His many friends and all family members were considered an important part of his life and he valued those special times with them. He especially enjoyed skiing, boating, travel, Penn State and Notre Dame football games, the NY Giants with the exception of the last few seasons, and of course a good happy hour. He was a devoted and loyal Detective with the NJ State Police after completing his bachelor's degree from Trenton State College and his master's from Seton Hall University. He was honored to serve with the State Police and considered those in law enforcement to be part of his extended family. Steve enjoyed his years in retirement after a full career. A mass will be held for Steve at St Justin the Martyr Roman Catholic Church at 975 Fischer Blvd, Toms River at 11 AM on Friday November 3 with a luncheon to follow to Celebrate his Life at Aqua Blu restaurant in Toms River. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Richard Villani, who touched our lives with his boundless love, joy, and resilience. Richard was born on September 24, 1965, and he left this world on Friday, October 13 ,2023, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Richard was a shining example of the beauty of diversity and the strength of the human spirit. He faced life's challenges with an unwavering spirit and an infectious smile that could light up any room. He reminded us of all that happiness can be found in the simplest of moments and that kindness knows no bounds. Throughout his life, Richard taught us the true meaning of love, acceptance, and inclusion. He brought our family and friends together, and his presence was a constant source of inspiration. He had a special bond with each of us, reminding us of the importance of compassion, patience and love. Richard had a passion for life that was unmatched. He loved music, and his dancing brought joy to countless gatherings. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, feeling the warmth of the sun on his face and the wind in his hair, what was left. His laughter was infectious, and his sense of humor never failed to bring smiles to everyone. He will forever be known as the 10th man for the New York Yankees. In his own unique way, Richard touched the hearts of many in the community. He was an advocate for inclusion, and he taught us that every person deserves respect, dignity, and the opportunity to shine. He was a living testament to the fact that differences are what make our world beautiful. Richard Villani is survived by his loving family, including his mom, Renee Villani; sister and brother-in-law Corinne and Craig Kaas; sister and brother-in-law, Claudette and Ken McElroy; nephew Brad Kaas; niece, Dawn and husband JR Nisivoccia; niece, Meaghan and husband Ryan Henry; nephew, Brendan and his wife Jenna McElroy.
