Josephine Pascucelli Obituary

Josephine Marie Pascucelli, of West Haven passed away May 6, 2023 in Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Pascucelli. Born in New Haven on September 9, 1924 daughter of the late Angelo and Amelia Cerrone Rienzo, Josephine worked for Loring Studios and later as a market researcher Rideshare. She had a great love of animals and enjoyed reading any animal related books and was a skilled seamstress. She is the devoted mother of Anna Pascucelli, Mary (Skippy) Gilman, Dolores Cellini and Anthony Pascucelli. Sister of the late Norma Gagliardi, Alma Barrows, and Ralph and Eugene Rienzo. Grandmother of Michael and Matthew Gilman, Christopher Prentiss and Kaley Pascucelli. Great grandmother of Chase, Blake, Madelyn, Josephine and Owen Gilman. Mother-in-law of the late John Cellini. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday morning at 10:00 in St. Michael Church, 29 Wooster Place in New Haven. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. The Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. is in care of her arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an animal charity of one's choice.
