He formerly worked as a gardener for Rye Ridge Greenery in Rye, NH, and also worked for many years as a janitor for Phillips Exeter Academy and more recently at Walmart.Warren was well known for his “Green Thumb”. He loved gardening, photography, and was an avid ham radio operator.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Donald Bye. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Suzanna P. James R. Shea, 91, known as Uncle Bud, a resident of Kennebunk and former Officer with the Metropolitan District Police Department in Boston, passed away Friday, February 23, 2024, at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital with his loving family at his side. James was born December 9, 1932, in Cambridge, MA, the son of Joseph and Margaret Hartney Shea, and attended Cambridge Ridge and Latin High School. A natural athlete, he competed as a speed skater for his local skating club. He soon entered the US Air Force and was stationed in Alaska and California. Following his love of sports, especially golf, he worked to become an assistant pro with the Greenwich Country Club in Greenwich, CT. While he was with the club, he scored 3 confirmed holes in one, and was thought to have had a 4th. James then joined the Metropolitan District Police Department, serving for almost 15 years before a line of duty injury forced his early retirement. Known for his great sense of humor, family gatherings were very important to James. Telling stories and pulling practical jokes were a great source of amusement for him. His family states “he won’t be yelling at cousins Phil and Debbie anymore.” He is predeceased by his former wife, Marguerite Shea, and a sister, Dorothy Shea. Survivors include his sons David Shea and his wife Kimberly of Pelham, NH, Stephen Shea of Reading MA and Brian Shea of Saugus, MA, a daughter Susan Shea of Kennebunk, grandchildren include Marisa Philips and her husband Ryan, and Dylan Shea and his wife Caitlin Wolff, Jacquelyn Nash, Janelle Shea, Anthony Squillante, Mackenzie Shea and Rachel McBride and her husband, Nick, 6 great grandchildren, and his much-loved fur baby Darby. Friends are invited to visit with the family 1 -3 PM Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer St. Kennebunk, ME. A graveside service will be held 11 AM Friday, March 1, 2024, at Cambridge City Cemetery, 89 Coolidge Ave, Cambridge, MA 02138. Portsmouth - Frances (Mahan) Alex Mouflouze, 91, of Portsmouth passed away peacefully on February 18, 2024, at Portsmouth Hospital. She was born in Portsmouth on July 11, 1932, the daughter of the late Frank and Ethel (Locke) Mahan. Frances shared 21 years of marriage with her first husband, and father of their four children, Ted Alex, who predeceased her in 1973. She also shared 33 years of marriage to George (Spiro) Mouflouze who predeceased her in 2015.Frances was very proud of her family, and when she found herself a single parent, she returned to work. She spent many happy years running the cafeteria at New Franklin School. She loved interacting with the children and was always concerned about ensuring that each had enough food. She worked while Mrs. Carmody was principal and remembers many years fondly. While raising her own children, she spent many hours cooking and baking for her church and teaching Sunday school at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.Frances leaves behind her four children, Patricia (Alex) Cameron and husband Gary of Portsmouth, Ted Alex and wife Cindy of Rye, Pamela (Alex) Erwin of Silver Springs, MD and Frank Alexandropoulos and wife Kiska of North Hampton. She also leaves eight grandchildren: Shane Nicols, Nikohl (Alex) McKee, Brian Erwin, and Theo, Nicholas, Kosta, Elias, and Frankie Alexandropoulos, four great grandchildren: Peyton Nicols, Gabriel, Abigail, and Katie McKee, and one great-great grandson, Alexander McKee. In addition to her parents and her husbands, she was predeceased by her grandson, Jeremy Alex, her four sisters, Dorothy, Marguerite, Shirley and Virginia and a brother, Bill Fowler.Frances was a lifelong Red Sox and Patriots fan. It was a sad day when “her” Papi retired, as well as Tom Brady.The family would like to offer the entire staff at the Inn of Edgewood their sincere gratitude for the loving care and concern which Frances received. She very much enjoyed her life at the Inn playing cards, doing crafts, cooking, and dancing to Neil Diamond. They became her second family. They added so much more time to her life by greatly bringing a true quality of life.Frances will be greatly missed by her family, lifelong friends, and the staff and residents at the Inn. A special friend, Ardy Schmidtchen, will always be remembered.Private services with the family will be held. She was the wife of the late Robert Glover, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage. Sharon grew up in Revere, graduating from Revere High School in 1964. She was a proud resident of Revere, having resided there for most of her life, until moving to New Hampshire several years ago. She is survived by her sons, Brian Glover and his partner, Anissa Spring, of Epping, Nh, Mark Glover and his wife, Michelle, of Seabrook, Nh, granddaughter, Morgan Glover, her brother Robert McKinney and wife, Pamela, and her niece, Kati. Portsmouth NH. - Mark F. Elliott passed away on Feb. 8th, 2024, after years of declining health and a month and a half of rapid decline. He was 61 and just a few days away from his 62nd birthday.Mark was born in Hartford, CT on Feb. 16, 1962, and was a lifelong resident of CT. He was the son of Katherine (Hilton Farris) and Lawerence S. Elliott. He grew up in East Hartford CT, attended local schools and graduated from George J. Penney High School in June of 1980. He then attended Central Connecticut State University in New Britain CT where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in Dec. of 1984. After college, he worked as a software engineer at Vitro Corp and then Aetna until his retirement.In his younger years Mark enjoyed bowling in leagues with his dad and friends. He was often hosting card games and Dungeons and Dragons games with his friends. An avid fan of all the New England sports teams (Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, Revolution...but not the Bruins!) he loved his Hartford Whalers IceHockey the most. He was a season ticket holder for many years and was often rubbing elbows with Gordie Howe and Ron Francis to name a few. Mark knew the game and could talk for hours about The Whalers and the Carolina Hurricanes and how much he disliked the Bruins.Mark was also part of the Xbox gaming community. His gamer tag was MFEforever. He was often teaming up with his guild to advance their position in the Xbox world. He had lots of friends around the world that he met though gaming who will miss him.Mark is survived by his cousins Darlene Elliott Thomas of Danielsville GA, David Coffin and Donna Coffin of Dover-Foxcroft ME, and Bonnie Coffin and her husband Randy Bertrand of Dover NH. He is predeceased by his parents, his paternal grandparents Charles and Leola Elliott, his maternal grandparents Raymond Hilton, Marguerite (Sawtelle Hilton) and Hollis Farris, all of his aunts and uncles, and his beloved dogs Mickey, Kara, and Dalia.Mark will be laid to rest in his family plot in Bridgton ME.
