Joseph Sheridan Obituary

Joseph Leo Sheridan, Jr. , 85, of Trumbull, CT, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2023. He was born in New Haven, CT to the late Joseph Leo Sr. and Mary (Fox) Sheridan. Joe graduated from the University of New Haven with a degree in criminal justice. He retired as a special agent with the F. B. I. after forty years of service. Joe enjoyed playing bocce, cards, music, but especially cherished spending time at his Berkshire cottage and Naples, FL home with friends and family. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Maureen (Lavin) Sheridan and his sister Dorothea Bartek. Survivors include his four children Eileen Sheridan, Martha Brennan, Brian Sheridan and Maura Kjar (Thomas); five cherished grandchildren, Carly & Conor Brennan, Jonathan Stelmaszek, Timothy & Lindsay Kjar; several brother and sister in laws & many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a mass TODAY, Thursday, at 11:00 a. m. at St. Theresa's Catholic Church. Burial services will be private.
