Joseph Schneider Obituary

Joseph John Schneider, age 89, of Yaphank, New York died Saturday, April 22, 2023. Joe was born March 29, 1934 in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of the late George and the late Rose (Schmitt) Schneider. He was a proud Air Force veteran during the Korean conflict. He retired as Manager of Data Processing for Suffolk County and was a graduate of NYU University. He is survived by his beloved wife, Pirkko (Betty), and his loving children, Paul (Diane) Schneider, Ann Marie (Al) Licata, Carolyn(Sal) Santonocito, and Karl (Anne) Schneider. He is also the cherished grandfather of Erik, Ian, Kasey, Anthony, Sylvie, and Andrew. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Celebration of the Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at St. Anthony of Padua R. C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Placement of Cremated Remains in a niche will follow at Calverton National Cemetery with Military Honors. There will not be any visiting at the Funeral Home.
