Joseph Moses, age 102, of Bloomington, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2022 after a long and full life. Preceded in death by parents, Jacob & Anna Moses; and sister, Ruth Berns. Survived by beloved wife of 66 years, Frances Moses; daughter, Susan Moses-Zirkes (Neil); grandchildren, Anna & Jared; and sister, Margo Berdass. Born in Germany after WWI, Joe fled the Nazis as a teenager, and worked to helphis family settle in the US. He served in the Army Air Force in WWII maintaining teletype machines that were critical to Army communications. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, he went on to start two metal stamping businesses. After a late retirement, he volunteered for more than 15 years in the metal shop at Bloomington Kennedy High School, inspiring students and teachers alike.
