Joseph Martinez Obituary

Born in Oakland on May 2, 1981, Joseph Martinez Sr. entered into rest on Saturday April 29, 2023 in Stockton, Ca. He was 41 years old. Joe is preceded in death by his son Angel Martinez and his sister Marri Martinez. Joe is survived by his parents Lisa Garfield Simons, step-father Vincent Simons, father Jose Martinez, the love of his life Stacie Ellis, his children Joseph Martinez JR. , Xaviour Martinez, Sonnie Ellis, Eliyanah Ellis and Marri Martinez, siblings Eddie Guerrero and Ashley Guerrero Torres and grandmother Anna Rosa Martinez. Joe worked in construction as a painter for over 3 years; he also worked alongside his dad as an auto mechanic for many years. He grew up in Tracy and Manteca and attended Manteca High School. Joe was a dreamer and extremely intelligent; he visualized going into Real Estate and Website Design. He had a strong faith in God and commonly shared it with family and friends. He enjoyed gaming and working on his car. He was at his happiest when spending time with his children and his family. He was tremendously giving and caring to others; he would give his last possession and dollar to ones he loved. Joe will be remembered for his happy demeanor and his blunt comical spirit. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
