Joseph Fisher Obituary

Joseph F. Fisher, 42, passed away at his Elizabethtown, Conewago Township home on Thursday, April 20, 2023. He was the husband of Amanda M. McClure-Fisher. Joe was born on the family farm in Strasburg Township, the son of Samuel L. Fisher, and the late Susie E. (Glick) Fisher. He owned and operated Fisher's Custom Carpentry for the last 10 years. , and he loved his job building and fixing many things. Joe enjoyed caring for the farm animals and family pets. Family camping in Potter County and travelling to Florida in the winter meant a great deal to Joe. Joe is survived by his father Samuel L. Fisher of Ronks, his wife Amanda M. McClure-Fisher and their children: Mercades M. Fisher, Weston M. Fisher, Georgia R. Fisher, and Brody A. Fisher; his siblings: Stephen Fisher, husband of Marian, Samuel Fisher, husband of Mary, Elmer Fisher, husband of Ada, Elizabeth, wife of James Stoltzfoos, Susie, wife of Levi Miller, Barbie Anne, wife of Joseph Fisher, and Sarah Jane, wife of Abner Fisher; his father-in-law James McClure, and mother-in-law Dawn Reed; sister-in-law, Brooke, wife of Arby Bish; and his brothers-in-law, Zachary Schelling and Tommy Lowery. Joe's family will greet friends on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, from 6 to 8 pm at the Bachman Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 7 S. Decatur St, Strasburg, PA 17579.
