Audry Marceal Yach, age 92, of Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024 at the Carnegie Village Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She was born on April 12, 1931 in Benton County, Missouri to Albert and Roseltha Summers (Farier).She was united in marriage to Carl Yach who preceded her in death.Audry attended school at the Poplar Baptist Church then later graduated from high school through correspondence courses before attending Longview Community College for two years. She was employed at Banquet Foods in Marshall, Missouri for over 40 years before her retirement.Along with her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Dale Summers and Dinzel Summers, four sisters, Vivian Veale, May Langston, and Lavon Williams.She is survived by her daughter, Carla Lungren of Harrisonville, Missouri, one sister, Sharon Sartin, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.Graveside services and interment will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Warsaw, Missouri on Thursday, February 22, 2024. Loren W. Kennedy, 81, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024, in Harrisonville, Missouri, surrounded by his family. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM, with services immediately following at 2 PM, on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd, Kansas City, Missouri 64138. Burial to follow services in Green Lawn Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Loren’s memory to The American Heart Association or Parkinson’s Foundation. Loren was born on Friday, September 25, 1942, to Margaret "Maggie" (Kenchloe) and Lawrence Kennedy, in Mulberry, Kansas. He was a machine operator by trade. Loren married the love of his life, Gilda A. Crutcher, on January 8, 1965, in Kansas City, Missouri. Loren’s hobbies included fishing, NASCAR, motorcycles, and vacationing (with or without his bike), to name a few. He will be remembered for his sharp memory, grand story-telling, and how meticulously he kept his lawn; it was the best on the block! Most importantly, Loren will be remembered as a family man. Loren is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Lawrence L. Kennedy, Calvin Craig Kennedy and Minola Mayes. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Gilda A. Kennedy; children Carmen Kennedy (Lee), Misty Flowers (Ricky) and Loren I. Kennedy (Sherrell); grandchildren: Taelor Jones, Moriah Jones, Ricky Flowers Jr., Mila Willis, Awbree Kennedy, and Isaac Kennedy; great-grandchildren Isabella Galvan and one on the way. Loren is also survived by his sister, Loyce Poncil (Doug); and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements entrusted to Park Lawn Funeral Home.

Danny "Big Daddy" Roberts of Harrisonville, MO was born November 6th, 1953, in Kansas City, MO to James A. Roberts and Imogene (Hopkins) Roberts. He was the youngest of four children.He departed this life on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.Danny lived in Harrisonville from the age of 5 till his passing. He started working at the age of 10 for R.L. Hannah and Sam Helt laying sod, bailing hay, and cutting wood.He was united in marriage on July 10th, 1971, to Elizabeth Moore. In this union they welcomed three sons Danny Jr., Jeff and Darren. Years later they welcomed their daughter Chelsey.In 1974 While Danny was still working in sod with Eddie Famuliner, he with the help of Winford Snead started Roberts Basement Repair and did so for the next 40 years till he handed over to his youngest son Darren. He had also started a small tire business that turned into Roberts Tire Center until his oldest son Danny Jr. bought him out. Today they are both thriving businesses.Danny retired in 2010 and enjoyed traveling to many different places. He loved fishing trips with his friends, camping with his wife, spending many weekends at the local dirt track racing with his sons and spending time with his family. Danny was also a member of Cass County Elks Lodge 2791.Danny is proceeded in death by his parents Jim and Imogene, a sister Glinda Sims, brother Jimmy Roberts and daughter-in-law Cara Roberts.Danny is survived by his wife Elizabeth of 52 years. Sons Danny Roberts Jr. (Carrie), Jeffery Roberts, Darren Roberts (Destrian), a daughter Chelsey Ethridge (Zach) and a sister Dixie Harper. 9 Grandchildren, Ashley, Austin, Tyler, Brittany, Abby, Carter, Ty, Tori and Kylan. 8 great-grandchildren Paityn, Braelyn, Kenzie, Addilyn, Grace, Austin Jr., River, and Josie.Danny will be missed by many including his beloved dogs. Joyce Jeanette Jansen, 89 of Harrisonville, MO (formerly of Davenport, IA) went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. She died peacefully after a short illness.Joyce was born July 1, 1934, in Davenport to William and Pearl Fromm, where she graduated from Davenport High School and was employed by Northwestern Bell Telephone. She married Ernest Jansen on December 19, 1952, in Davenport. They traveled to Germany while he served in the U.S. Air Force, returning to Davenport after his discharge. Together they raised three sons on the family farm in Eldridge, Iowa.Joyce was active throughout her life, helping on the farm, serving as a cub scout den mother for all three boys, playing cards with family and friends, dancing, gardening, and spending time with her family. Joyce and Ernie retired to Cheraw, SC, in 1985. While there, she was active as a Sunday school teacher, day care director for the First United Methodist Church, and a volunteer at St. David’s Church Thrift Store. She continued to be active in the community after Ernie’s death in 2011, until she returned to Davenport in 2017 to be closer to her family and friends and her home church, St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Joyce is survived by her sons Steve (Shelley) Jansen of Harrisonville, MO, Jeff Jansen of Bella Vista, AR; grandchildren Stacy Jansen, Jay (Erica) Jansen, Jimmy Jansen, Sarah (Heath) Cummings, and Anna (Thomas) Ponder; seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, infant brother Floyd W. Fromm, sister Virginia Owens, husband Ernest, son James Jansen and grandson Christopher Jansen.Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2024 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Davenport, Iowa. Inurnment will be at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. Contributions may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or to a Charity of one's choice, contributions may be mailed to Dickey Funeral Home, P.O. Although Rusty never had children, he leaves behind 2 older brothers Glenn and Terry Bowman of Urich Mo and Terry and Melissa Bowman of Harrisonville Mo. He attended Strasburg elementary and graduated from Pleasant Hill High school in 1981. He continued his education at Penn Valley where he graduated with his Bachelor of science in nursing. Rusty left behind 3 nieces and 1 nephew, 5 great nieces and 4 great nephews. He has finally been reunited with his mother, nephew and may other family members. Cremation with a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be at Strasburg Cemetery, Strasburg, Missouri at a later date. A visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Adrian, MO, followed by a graveside service at 11:00 AM at Sharon Cemetery in Drexel, MO. Contributions may be made to One Complete Hospice or St. Jude Children's Hospital. Dorothy was born on January 18, 1933, in Deepwater, MO, to Leslie and Cleo (DeLance) Bohannon. After graduating from Harrisonville High School in 1950, Dorothy married the love of her life, Mervin "Bud" Aurand, on August 25, 1950. She dedicated her life to her family and the dairy farming industry. As a respected dairy farmer, she worked tirelessly to ensure the well-being of her animals and the success of the farm.
