Joseph Calvin Baker, age 80 of Talihina, Oklahoma passed away on June 18th, 2022 at his home in Talihina. Joe was born on February 21st 1942 to Ruby (Bush) and Joseph H. Baker in Plano, Texas. He graduated high school in Plano, Texas as Valedictorian. He worked as a John Deere mechanic, long haul truck driver, construction (he helped build the mall in Grapevine, TX) and finally a farmer. He enjoyed working on projects and anything that had to do mechanically. He also loved a good crossword puzzle, watching Wheel of Fortune, and Polka. He was a member of the Eagle Club in Fort Smith, AR where enjoyed dancing Joe will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Joe is survived by his daughter, Annette Baker of Rowlett, TX; step-daughter, Carolyn Anderson of Whittney, TX; two grandchildren, Tifini Necole Murray and Bryan Anderson; four great grandchildren, Charleigh, Maddie, Brennen, and Bailey; as well as special friend, DeAnne Means.
