Josefine May Smiley passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the age of 29. She was born May 18, 1989 in Missoula, MT to Joeline and Robert Smiley. Josefine grew up in a large family and was the oldest of six children. She was the big sister and Mothers' little helper to her siblings Justice, Mary, Trustin, Jack and Jill Smiley. Josie spent most of her life wandering under the Big Sky and her home base was wherever her family was. Josefine will be remembered most for her contagious positivity, her laugh and her illuminating smile. Josies' free spirit took her to vast places, people and experiences. She is survived by her immediate Smiley family and her son Josiah Schlowinski. Josie touched the hearts of many and will be forever deeply missed.
