Familiares y amigos se reuniran por un servicio de velacion el jueves 14 de septiembre de 2023, de 5:00 p. m. hasta las 9:00 p. m. con rosario a las 7:00 p. m. en la funeraria Virgil Wilson Mortuary en Mission, Texas. Habra una misa funeraria el viernes 15 de septiembre de 2023 a las 10:00 a. m. en la iglesia catolica de San Juan Diego en McAllen, Texas, y seguira con el sepelio en el panteon Lord and I en Palmview, Texas a las 11:30 a. m. He took his final bow in the same town where he first stepped onto life's stage, McAllen, Texas. Born on July 12, 1987, to Lizandro Martinez and Sandra Rivas, Steven quickly became the family's leading man, a role he played with an irresistible mix of humor and heart. Steven was the life of every party, and his laughter was infectious. He attended Nikki Rowe High School. Steven was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life - a sunny day at the beach, the laughter of his children, and the company of his family and friends. He had the rare ability to turn the mundane into the magnificent with just a quip and a grin. His family was Steven's favorite audience, and he was the beloved star in the eyes of his father, Lizandro, and mother, Sandra. His sisters, Laura Cassandra and Lizbeth Kristine, often played the straight men to his comedic antics, providing the perfect setup for his punchlines. Mila's life was a testament to the power of unwavering kindness and dedication to family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Juan Daniel Ordaz. Together, they built a legacy of love that continued to flourish through their children, Maria de Jesus, Sandra, Daniel, Joel, and Eva Delia. Mila's joy multiplied with the arrival of each of her 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, whose lives she enriched with her warmth and wisdom. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. During this time, family and friends are invited to gather and share memories of a life well-lived.
