Jose "Nick" Nicholas Rodriguez, 71, died Monday, May 8, 2023. He was born on September 10, 1951, in Kountze, to Susie B Risner Rodriguez and Rito Rodriguez. Survivors include his daughter, Casaundra McCormick and her husband, Rodie, of Canton; stepson, Issac Parish of Silsbee; grandchildren, Melissa Gray, Jessica Gray, Alicia Ferro, and Jonathan Gray; siblings, Joe Rodriguez and his wife, Jane; Mona Duce and her husband, Jerry; Rita Flowers and her husband, Kevin; Cathy Gatewood and her husband, Bobby; and Tina Allison all of Kountze; great-grandchildren, Abbigail Adams, Athena Adams, and Adelyn Ferro; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. A gathering of Nick's family and friends will begin at 1:00 p. m. , with his funeral service at 2:00 p. m. , on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, with his interment to follow at RestHaven Cemetery, Silsbee.
