Jose "Joe" Jesus Gasca, died unexpectedly on Sunday January 8, 2023 at his residence. He was only 62 years old. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. Joe was born on May 17, 1960 in El Paso, Texas to his parents Jose and Maria de Jesus Gasca. He was one of seven siblings, three brothers Ruben, Gilbert, and Arnulfo Gasca and three sisters Yolanda Fothmann, Josie Pachkoulova, and Maria Anchondo. Joe was a smart and charismatic man who worked in the air conditioning and heating industry. Joe also had a captivating love for music and dancing, which made him the life of the party. He was well known for his side job as DJ "JIG". Inspite of his handsome brusque exterior, Joe was a stubborn, loving, giving, and caring individual. Joe was a true blue die hard Dallas Cowboys fan, he will be cheering for them from up above. Joe was married to his first wife Melinda Figueroa and together had a daughter Joanna Figueroa and a grandson John-Anthony Plata. Joe was not only loved once but lucky in love twice with Jacqueline Marquez and together had a son, Joe Marquez. Joe is survived and his memory lives on with his daughter Joanna Figueroa Galvan (Fabian), grandson John-Anthony Plata, ex-wife Melinda Figueroa, girlfriend Jacqueline Marquez, and son Joe Marquez. Forever cherished and remembered by his family Yolanda Fothmann, Josie Pachkoulova (Dimitre), and Maria Anchondo (Tony), Gilbert Gasca Jr. , Christine Gasca, Veronica Lopez (Albert) along with fourteen grand nieces/nephews, Joshua Forthmann, Amber Anchondo, and Mark-Anthony Anchondo. His memory will be cherished by Veronica Marquez and kids. Joe was preceded in death by his father Jose Gasca, mother Maria de Jesus Gasca, brothers Gilbert Gasca, Arnulfo Gasca, Ruben Gasca, nephew Sergio Forthmann, brother-in-law John Albert Forthmann IV, and nephew Ruben Gasca Jr. Joe led the life he wanted and although the family is feeling sorrow and pain, they know in their hearts that he wanted to live in a better place alongside his Mama and brothers. There are no words to express how grateful and blessed we were to have had this loving and thoughtful man in our lives, Joe's legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
