Services for Mrs. Jordana Yvette Fuselier Watson will be held at 2 p. m. on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Jena. Burial will follow in the Urania Cemetery. The family requests that visitation be observed at the funeral home on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10 a. m. until the time of service. Mrs. Jordana Yvette Fuselier Watson, 38, of Enid, Oklahoma was born on July 2, 1985 in Columbia, Louisiana, and passed from this life on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Sullivan, and Martha Kay Johnson Fontenot; and her adopted dad, Dan Fuselier. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Matthew Watson; three daughters, Lisa Watson, Hannah Watson, and Bethany Watson; four brothers, John Fuselier, Vaughn Fontenot, John Michael Sullivan, and Brian Fuselier; one sister, Christy Rives; adopted mom, Theresa Fuselier; and many other family and friends.

Ella McSmith, better known as "Granny" to some and "Aunt Ella" to others, passed away in the early morning hours of December 5th, 2023 in Wichita, KS after a battle with Metastatic Bone Cancer. Ella was born in Ponca City, OK on the 25th day of August in 1946 to Paul Ivan Lindsey and Josephine Alice Lindsey. Ella was the pillar of her family, and her loss will be felt not only by her family, but by the many lives she touched during her time on this Earth. Ella is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles McSmith. Son, Francis McSmith and wife Bliss McSmith. Daughter, Norma Fink. Grandchildren, Jessyca Schnack, Leila McSmith, Dale McSmith, Charles "Colby" Fink, and Melvin Fink. Great Grandchildren, Adyson McSmith, Aubree Schnack, Rylee Schnack, Skylar Branning, and Connor Branning. Sisters, Fran Wright and husband Mel Wright, and Mary Hill. Aunt, Judie Dugan. Brother-in-law, Brad Robinson. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Josephine. Grandson, Justin McSmith. Son-in-law, Charles "Benji" Fink Jr. Brothers, Wayne Tohee, John Lindsey, and Bob Lindsey. Sisters, Nonie Hermes, Pauline Thompson, Deanna Robinson, and Martha Briner. Brother-in-laws, Gary Hill, and Pat Hermes. Ella worked at Midwest Easy Stop at the corner of Liberty and Union for many years. Her favorite hobbies included crocheting afghans, watching birds eat outside her front window, and playing Solitaire and other various card games. The family would like to extend thanks to Phoenix Hospice of Wichita, KS for taking such great care of Ella in her final days with us. She is loved and will be missed by all. James Carroll "Jim" Keese, 70, of Enid, Oklahoma, passed away on November 26, 2023. Born on August 10, 1953, in Massena, New York, Jim was a kind man who never met a stranger and always did his best to help those in need. He was a very selfless person, always willing to lend a helping hand, whether it was through monetary support, providing clothes, or sharing his various skills. Jim is survived by his siblings: Judy Grinstead, Rose Haggart, Wesley Keese, Barry Keese, Karen Hanes, and Kimberly Keese-Brown. He is also survived by his children: Thomas Keese, Dannielle Lott, Johnathan Keese, and Casey Keese, as well as several nieces and nephews. Papa Jim was a proud grandfather to Careena, Jamesson, Davin, Casyn, Avian, Camdyn, Chloe, and Orion. He is preceded in death by his father, James J. Keese, mother Kathlyn V. Keese (Kirkey), brother Curtis L. Keese, and granddaughter Bayli Marie Keese. Jim attended Massena Central School in Massena, New York. He had a successful career as a heavy equipment mechanic and was a Certified Master Technician for Yale Lift Truck Technologies. Jim had a passion for music of all kinds and enjoyed fishing, classic cars, motorcycles, and making people laugh. A Celebration of Life ceremony for immediate and extended family will be held in the Spring of 2024. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory. Howard Jack Jr

Howard Jack Jr (Bud), 77, beloved husband, father, step father and grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on November 30, 2023 in Claremore, Oklahoma. After serving in the US Navy during the Vietnam War he was honorably discharged. Later Bud worked in Oklahoma Public Schools for over 30 years as a Speech and Language Pathologist. He was very proud of his work with the children, helping them to communicate. He loved fishing, being in his garden, his Catholic Faith and loving on his Chihuahuas. Bud will be deeply missed by his wife Denise, son Mathew Jack, wife Allison, grandson Marshall, step children Tiegan and Dana Willoughby, Sister Susan Hanska and her husband Joe, nephews Mike and Larry and his cousins in Dallas. He is preceded in death by his parents Howard and Lois Jack. Bud will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and love for his family. Funeral services for Patty Ruth Walter, 85, Covington resident, will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 in the First Baptist Church of Covington with Pastor Tommy Donaldson officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Covington Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service. Visitation with the family present will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, December 4th at Stittsworth's. Patty was born on March 14, 1938 in Covington, the daughter of Alfred Powell and Delore Irene Divert Powell, and passed away peacefully on November 29, 2023 in Enid. She was raised in Covington, attending the Covington School System. Patty married Charles Edward Walter, Sr. in Enid on her birthday, March 14, 1955. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Covington. Patty loved to paint, reading, spending time with her grandchildren, she went through the whole bible once a yea. Patty and Charles traveled to several destinations. Ernest was born February 17, 1958 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Thurman and Ethyl Rey (McLaughlin) Gattis, and passed away Friday, December 1, 2023 in Enid. He attended Blackwell High School, later attending Okmulgee Tech where he received a degree in Diesel Mechanics. He moved to Enid to be closer to family, and made his permanent home there. Ernest is preceded in death by his father, Thurman Gattis and mother, Ethyl Rey Gattis. Robert was born September 9, 1943 in Enid to Herman and Edna (Rugh) Rogers and passed away November 30, 2023. He married Dean A. Whittenberg on July 17, 1965. Robert worked for Dierkson Jones Buick and Halliburton over the years. He enlisted in the National Guard in 1965 and was honorably discharged in 1969. Robert is survived by his daughter, Kristin Winton and husband David; grandchildren, Jacob Vaughn and wife Hailye, Garrick Prelesnick and wife Hannah, Brilee Winton; great grandchildren; 3 nieces and nephews. "Goldie Rosena (Sperle) Phelps was born on August 25, 1921, in Bessie, Oklahoma, to Christian and Louisa (Stehr) Sperle. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 27, 2023, in Enid, Oklahoma, at the age of 102 years old. A family visitation will be held at Anderson-Burris funeral home on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 5:00 -6:00 p. m. Goldie married Eldon Phelps, of Enid, Oklahoma, in 1946. They raised two children. Goldie was preceded in death by Eldon, her parents, and two siblings. Goldie was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. Goldie loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and was actively involved in church work throughout her life. She was an excellent seamstress, and enjoyed all forms of needlework. She was employed by Montgomery Ward, in Enid, as a shipping and receiving clerk, from 1963 to 1967. In their retirement years, they enjoyed camping, and traveled extensively. Goldie is survived by her children, Sharon (Phelps) Pendleton, and David Phelps, her grandchildren, Amy (Pendleton) and Dustin Scott, Ben and Lori Yarborough, Betsy Brown, and four great grandchildren, Hudson, Nathan, Ella and Anna.
